American music executive Suge Knight criticized Drake's diss track on Kendrick Lamar after the rapper used Tupac's AI voice in it. In the latest episode of his podcast Collect Call With Suge Knight via Dave Mays’ Breakbeat Media, Knight further stated how he believes that Snoop Dogg is responsible for the deceased rapper's downfall.

"Then putting him on a song with Snoop, who was a part of his downfall and exit, ain’t ever a good look. 'Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t make him be a pawn now."

He even warned the Canadian rapper that gangs in Los Angeles do not joke about these things.

In the latest episode of his podcast, Suge Knight shared how he felt when he heard Snoop Dogg and deceased rapper Tupac's AI voice in the diss track made by Canadian rapper Drake. Knight said,

"Young people do what young people do. It’s y’all turn, but regarding the homie ‘Pac, he wasn’t no chump. Putting him on a song and dissing Kendrick [Lamar] for everybody entertainment — that ain’t how it go."

Drake released his second Kendrick Lamar diss track, Taylor Made Freestyle, where the voices were used, and Knight expressed his displeasure about the incident.

Even Snoop Dogg appeared surprised after learning about his voice being used in the track. He said in an Instagram clip,

"They did what? When? How? Are you sure? [Sigh] Y’all have a good night. Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up?! What the f*ck— what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night."

In the diss track, the AI voice of Tupac says:

"Kendrick, we need ya, the West Coast savior / Engraving your name in some hip-hop history/ If you deal with this viciously / You seem a little nervous about all the publicity."

Knight has time and again questioned Snoop Dogg's role in Tupac's death

Last year, on his podcast Collect Call, Suge Knight revealed that Snoop Dogg had some "explaining to do" in connection to rapper Tupac's death back in 1997. Knight was in the car with him when the shots were fired into the car. He then said,

"As far as the Puffy situation, I really, really, really gotta have a real conversation with Snoop."

This time, while criticizing the diss track, Knight again blamed Snoop Dogg for the tragic incident. The part of the track that included Snoop's part was:

"Dot, you know that the D-O-G never f**king doubted you/ But right now it seem like you posted up without a clue of what the f**k you ’bout to do."

A few weeks ago, Suge Knight gave his reaction after J. Cole went back on track for Kendrick Lamar. On his podcast, Knight said that Cole should stand by what he wants to say.

"J. Cole, you supposed to say what you mean and mean what you say. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. This is a contact sport."

The purpose of Drake's latest diss track was basically to send the message that Kendrick is possibly waiting to release his response diss track to avoid a competition with Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department.
