Rick Ross fired back at Drake's diss track Push Ups with his own song, Champagne Moments, earlier this month, reigniting their feud. Even as things have cooled off a bit, Ross remains proud of the work. Recently, he unveiled a surprising detail about the song's creation – the producer behind it is incredibly young.

In an Instagram Story video, the 48-year-old rapper revealed that the mastermind behind the beat for Champagne Moments is a mere 16 years old. This young talent goes by the name Mini Boom, and according to Hot New Hip Hop, he's the son of the iconic director Benny Boom.

"Sixteen. That’s right. 16 years old. Little man’s 16 years old and he’s the son of famed director Benny Boom," Ross said. "Yeah, he go by the name Mini Boom. So much love! Y’all show little homie some love. Boss."

This revelation came as a shock to fans, leaving many impressed by the teenager's skills. It seems talent truly runs in the family for Mini Boom.

Rick Ross unleashes young producer on Drake diss track Champagne Moments

Rick Ross is doubling down on his recent feud with Drake. Earlier this month, he fired back at Drake's diss track Push Ups with his own scathing song, Champagne Moments. The track's music video features Ross flaunting his lavish lifestyle, showcasing everything from luxury cars and designer threads to private jets and overflowing liquor cabinets.

This fiery response follows Drake's Push Ups, where he targeted several rappers, including Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Rick Ross. In Champagne Moments, Ross throws shade at Drake's ethnicity and even includes some plastic surgery jabs.

The exact cause of the rift between Ross and Drake remains unclear. Ross hinted that it might be connected to Drake's legal actions against French Montana, but Montana himself hasn't confirmed or denied this.

Regardless, the tension became undeniable after Drake dropped Push Ups. It's worth noting that Push Ups itself was a response to Future and Metro Boomin's Like That, featuring Kendrick Lamar, who took aim at Drake.

One of the biggest surprises surrounding Champagne Moments is the young mastermind behind the beat. In an Instagram story, Rick Ross revealed that the producer is a mere 16-year-old named Mini Boom.

This revelation sent shockwaves through the fanbase, highlighting Mini Boom's undeniable talent at such a young age. It seems creative genius runs in the family, as Mini Boom happens to be the son of the iconic director Benny Boom, known for directing music videos for Akon, Busta Rhymes, and even 50 Cent's Just a Lil Bit.

The feud between Rick Ross and Drake seems to be simmering down, but the Canadian rapper isn't quite out of the woods yet.

However, Drake faced legal trouble when he released Taylor Made Freestyle, his response diss. According to court documents obtained by Complex, Drake’s use of AI-generated Tupac’s voice on the latest track prompted Tupac Shakur’s estate to send the singer a caution letter or a cease-and-desist order.

The letter, reportedly written by estate litigator Howard King, expressed the estate's sheer disappointment and immense disapproval for the unauthorized use of Tupac's voice and likeness by Drake. The claimants raised questions about the legal violations and disrespect to Tupac's name.

The letter emphasized that the estate would never have approved such use, especially since the target of the diss, Kendrick Lamar, has always been respectful of Tupac. With this legal action, Drake faces another hurdle after his back-and-forth with Rick Ross.
