Sister Wives season 19 episode 28 was released on June 8, 2025, and was part three of the Tell-All series. The episode saw the Brown family discuss their entangled finances. This was because Kody Brown's ex-wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine claimed that they were yet to receive their share of the Coyote Pass property, where they intended to live.
Janelle, who was the family's bookkeeper before she and Kody split, revealed that Kody's fourth wife, Robyn got more cash as compared to any of his other wives when they were married. Janelle saw this as another sign of Kody's favoritism towards Robyn.
The Tell-All also saw Meri note that she had contributed to the family's finances but didn't trust that Kody would return it to her. During the Sister Wives episode, she also claimed she had records proving that she didn't take as much money out as she put into the family.
What the Browns said about their finances on Sister Wives season 19 episode 28
The Sister Wives Tell-All host, Sukanya Krishnan, dove straight to the point and asked the family about their Coyote Pass property. It was revealed that the payments on the property were completed and it wasn't in any debt. However, they told Krishnan that the issue lay in dividing the property among the ex-wives.
Kody didn't want to talk about the same with his ex-wives, and he stood by the stance during the Sister Wives Tell-All. While he didn't want to reveal details of the property, his ex-wives explained what they thought about the finances related to it. It was revealed that the property was divided unequally, which made it harder for them to gauge who needed to get how much.
Kody said he wanted to sell it and divide the money among his wives, but none of the exes believed this. He told them that Janelle was in charge of the money, adding that since she was only a bookkeeper, he was the one making key financial decisions. He said that this was why he had to decide how to divide it equally.
Kody accepted that they all contributed to the family finances, and at times, they would give more money to one if they needed it more. Meri stated that she contributed to the family financially, and she had records to prove it.
However, she added that despite these contributions, Kody didn't pay for her child's college nor did he pay her for his car. She said she had to pay for it herself, and Kody agreed that she did.
Kody countered that while he didn't pay for their child's college or car, he paid for the house Meri bought. However, Meri claimed that she paid for the house herself as well. She shared that Kody thought she was hiding finances from him when she hadn't been doing so.
She proved this by showing her financial records, which stated that she had contributed more money to the family than she had taken out.
This was the same for his other ex-wives, who also claimed Robyn got more cash than they did. They saw this as a sign of Kody's favoritism towards Robyn way before their respective splits.
While as the bookkeeper, Janelle agreed with it, Kody accused her of changing her opinions about the family finances after they separated. He said that he was under the impression that Janelle was okay with how things were going on their financial front before she decided to divorce him, which he implied was unfair.
The Sister Wives Tell All Part 4 comes out on June 15 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
