Originally expected next week, on October 3, Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1 episode 10 drops two weeks after the previous episode, on October 10, 2025, on Starz, at the usual 8:00 pm timeslot. Titled Something Borrowed, the next episode will see both couples, Julia and Henry Beauchamp, and Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, fight to be together.

The prequel series has told the tale of Claire Beauchamp's parents, Julia and Henry, and Jamie Fraser's parents, Ellen and Brian. Except for a few moments set in the present timeline, the Beauchamp's original timeline, most of the story is set in the Highlands in 1714, where the two pairs of star-crossed lovers' worlds met.

In Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1 episode 9, anyone who is anybody arrives at Braemar for the Earl of Mar's annual tynchal, aka hunt. Ellen MacKenzie reunites with Brian Fraser, but despite being careful, Colum still finds out about the two of them, no thanks to Dougal. Colum threatens to kill Brian, but Ellen keeps him from doing so, promising that she will cut ties with Brian.

Ellen dumps Brian, leaving him heartbroken. While Colum has sworn not to cause any harm to Brian, the latter still finds himself being chased by the Gallowglass, a group of paid mercenaries. But before he is killed, Murtagh comes to his rescue and they escape via their horses.

Meanwhile, Henry gets to meet Julia and their son at Braemar, but with Lord Lovat's presence, they have to be careful. Henry manages to ask Ned Gowan for a favor to help him, Julia, and their baby escape. The Beauchamps conspire to meet outside Leathers and escape together, but Seema, who has slept with Henry in episode 6 during one of his PTSD episodes, overhears them.

• Brian Fraser is going to fight for his love for Ellen MacKenzie. What he will do to save Ellen from marrying Malcolm Grant could be a highlight in episode 10.
• The Gallowglass will be after Brian Fraser. The hired assassins will not stop until they kill Brian, and he's seen fighting for his life again in the preview. Revealing who sent the mercenaries after him and why could be a major revelation in the finale.
