The Nike Victory 2 Proto "White/Total Orange/Black" variant is characterized by uppers that are mostly white and are accentuated with black swooshes and other accents. The fabric known as Atomknit is an improved form of Flyknit that features a lightweight, tailored fit and improved ventilation.

The upper is made of a revolutionary knit material and midfoot confinement cables, which together work to provide consumers with an extremely lightweight finish.

When compared to the previous Victory shoe model, the supportive foundation on the bottom of the plate creates a substantially larger flat area. This is done to maintain the wearer's stability. The company decided to go with a design that had four spikes rather than the two spikes that were present in the original.

Additionally, the brand raised the big-toe side platform to make the spikes seem more stable on the straightaways, particularly when users made their way around the corners.

Matching the base of the sole component is the goal of the extended carbon fiber Flyplate that has been optimized. A propulsive feel is imparted by its shape and hardness, which helps to keep the user on their toes and reduces the amount of deceleration that occurs.

The newly developed material for the plate is more reactive and lighter than the material that was used in the previous edition. The outside traction plate's durability is also improved as a result.

Finally, the forefoot Air Zoom unit is equipped with two chambers that provide the user with propulsion and stability from the moment of takeoff to that of landing. This sole unit features off-white and orange makeup, which is detailed with bold black markings all over.

The description of these shoes on Nike’s website reads:

“The Victory 2 is tested and validated by the best middle-distance runners sprinting the planet. It sports every speed component you need to smash records, from a carbon fiber Flyplate to Air Zoom unit to a lightweight, responsive ZoomX midsole. Atomknit on the upper and midfoot containment cables combine with a supportive base that delivers improved stability and control of the shoe, especially around the turns.”
