The VCT Pacific League's regular season started on March 25, 2023. It has gone through eight weeks of competition, where the ten franchised teams from across the Asia-Pacific have fought tooth and nail to make it into the playoffs. Only six teams have made it into the playoffs. Out of that, three will be able to fulfill their dream of representing the region at this year's Masters event to be held in June in Tokyo, Japan.May 20, 2023, is the second day of playoffs. The second match of the day will be played between Paper Rex from Singapore and T1 from Korea. Whoever wins will get one step closer to making it to Tokyo in hopes of declaring themselves the first-ever VCT Pacific League winner. They are yet to lose a series after the Russian Duelist player joined the squad. No other team in VCT Pacific can match PRX's combined firepower, with each player capable of carrying games. Moreover, the team's strat book has also been looking much deeper than what fans and critics gave them credit for.T1, on the other hand, is a team that can be considered an unknown factor. The players on the team have shown moments of brilliance throughout the regular season, especially their IGL Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom. He has been the safest pair of hands when it comes to holding down sites and in clutch situations. That being said, Paper Rex currently seems to be a force that knows no limits. Despite T1 being a capable squad, they might not have enough firepower to match PRX in head-to-head combat.Head-to-headVALORANT Champions Tour Pacific@vctpacific.@heyimquack decided to go all the way with the Adobo Gang @teamsecret, while everyone thinks @pprxteam is going to Masters Tokyo!#VCTPacific45572.@heyimquack decided to go all the way with the Adobo Gang @teamsecret, while everyone thinks @pprxteam is going to Masters Tokyo!#VCTPacific https://t.co/g4cC12EJStThe teams have gone up against each other once during the third week of the VCT Pacific League.
