10 Best bookings for WrestleMania 34

It's time to start dreaming about WrestleMania
It's time to start dreaming about WrestleMania

The road to WrestleMania is upon us and with one match already having been confirmed, it’s time to try and start filling the rest of the card out in our minds. From past vs future to friend vs friend bouts there’s a lot of potential heading into New Orleans, but the question remains – can it top WM30?

We’ll find out in just a few short months but for now, fantasy booking is the best thing we as fans can be doing. After all, Mania tends to be around seven hours long now when you include the pre-show, so there’s plenty of room for everyone to squeeze onto the card in one way or another.

A few of these might not seem likely to you but in our minds, they’re incredibly realistic, and we need to start preparing ourselves.

With that being said, here are our ten biggest & most realistic that WWE can offer us WrestleMania 34.

#10 HHH & Stephanie McMahon vs Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey

This mixed tag showdown could be huge
This mixed tag showdown could be huge

Call us crazy, but we actually think this is the best possible move for Ronda Rousey’s first official match with WWE.

Not only does it make sense given her history with Steph & HHH, but Kurt’s involvement in the match is completely logical too. We all know that Ronda is going to run through the entire division eventually, so why not have one last Mania where the likes of Alexa Bliss & The Four Horsewomen can parade around as the top dogs?

This protects Angle in case he can’t work a fully fledged singles match, and it’s certainly a better move than Steph vs Ronda. If you disagree, then we’d love to hear your argument for what should be done with Ronda instead.

#9 Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns

It's almost time for the rematch
It's almost time for the rematch

We all know it’s coming, so we may as well prepare ourselves for the inevitable. Brock vs Roman 2 has been in the pipeline ever since WrestleMania 33, and in all honesty, Vince has probably been dreaming about it for much longer than that. Whether you enjoy seeing these two face off or not, you can’t deny that it’s going to be a spectacle.

Plus, the first contest between the two men at WrestleMania 31 was actually really good. Sure, the circumstances will be much different this time around, but these are two recognisable faces and there’s a logical story there. If this closes the show in New Orleans, then don’t be surprised if we get a double turn of some kind.

#8 Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair

Rousey vs Flair could headline the showcase of the immortals

We’ve arrived at our second potential Ronda Rousey match, and in many ways, this one is much riskier. Rousey vs Flair is a rivalry that is destined to happen, and just seeing them square off at the Royal Rumble was enough to convince us that it’s only going to be a matter of time until it goes down.

When it does happen, though, WWE needs to ensure that Ronda is at the highest level possible – because otherwise, she’s going to get found out in a big way. Charlotte is head and shoulders above every other woman on the roster from an in-ring perspective, and it’s important for fans to see that Rousey is able to go toe to toe with her regardless of how much experience she’s got.

#7 Bray Wyatt vs Woken Matt Hardy

Will they square off one more time in New Orleans?
Will they square off one more time in New Orleans?

We’ve already seen these two square off in a bizarre match during Raw 25, but now, it’s time to see them clash on a much bigger stage. Both men have done okay so far in terms of getting the fans invested in their growing storyline, but we all know that there’s so much more these men can give from an entertainment perspective.

Their match at WrestleMania would be utterly bonkers and to be honest, that’s what we’re counting on. We need to see something different because Mania is a long old show, and these two represent everything that’s great about being unique in pro wrestling.

Plus, and we can’t stress this point enough, it’d give Bray the chance to obtain his first ever win on the grandest stage of them all.

#6 The Usos vs The Bludgeon Brothers

We desperately want to see this rematch
We desperately want to see this rematch

The Usos are the best tag team in the world right now and we’d happily debate that anecdote with anyone. Jimmy & Jey’s cocky yet successful characters blend together perfectly with their in-ring work, and all you need to do is listen to the pops that these guys get on SmackDown Live every single week.

On the other hand, you’ve got The Bludgeon Brothers, who are quite clearly being groomed for a run at the titles. Interestingly enough these two teams have fought for the belts before when Harper & Rowan were part of The Wyatt Family. Their iconic match at Battleground 2014 is still remembered fondly to this day, so just imagine what they could do in the sequel.

#5 Sasha Banks vs Bayley

One more time
One more time

Sasha Banks and Bayley may be best friends right now, but we all know that they’re at their very best when facing one another in the ring. The duo is in something of a rut right now with no obvious plans for them going forward, and while it may be a risk, having them square off even if it isn’t for the title would certainly improve the Mania 34 card.

Sasha hasn’t been a heel for almost two years now and we’re dying to see her bring out that fire once again, meanwhile Bayley’s stock in the company has been dropping dramatically ever since WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. This one seems like a no-brainer from our end, but perhaps a multi-woman match is a direction WWE will decide to go in.

#4 Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar

Give Braun another shot
Give Braun another shot

Braun and Brock are two of the baddest men on the planet when it comes to professional wrestling, and for that reason alone, they need to square off at the showcase of the immortals.

Brock may have defeated Braun in a one-on-one match before but it was only by the skin of his teeth, and at the Rumble, Lesnar had to resort to pinning Kane as he wasn’t able to best Strowman for the second time. Braun deserves to be in a featured match and with this potentially being Brock’s last Mania, it makes all the sense in the world for the Monster Among Men to be the one who sends him packing for the last time.

#3 John Cena vs The Undertaker

Give us the match and we'll shut up
Give us the match and we'll shut up

There will come a time when we stop trying to pitch the idea of John Cena vs The Undertaker to WWE’s creative team, but today is not that day.

The ominous nature of the Deadman’s match with Roman Reigns back in Orlando has led us to believe that he has one more match left in him, and in our opinion, John Cena is the only logical guy who can help Taker ride off into the sunset.

These men have been kept apart for the better part of a decade now, and there must be a reason for that. On one hand, you’ve got the face of the company and on the other, you’ve got the guy who has been a locker room leader for the entirety of his in-ring career. They’re the two biggest stars in the business today, and we’re convinced that this is finally going to go down in NOLA.

#2 Seth Rollins vs Jason Jordan

Jordan could be turned into a star
Jordan could be turned into a star

None of you will like the idea of calling this a ‘big’ match, but just hear us out.

Jason Jordan has been doing sensationally well as a slow burner heel on Monday Night Raw, and his blossoming relationship with Seth has been a blessing in disguise for both men. Not only does it give Jason a big name who he can turn on, but it also allows Rollins to sink his teeth into a brand new story.

If you need a comparison then try and picture Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 19, because the two circumstances aren’t all that different. Hell, we’d even have the match end the same way with Seth picking up the win meanwhile Jordan gets one last shot in as a measure of revenge.

#1 Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn

The seeds have already been planted

The seeds have already been planted

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn will spend the rest of their days battling one another because that’s just who they are.

These two ‘best friends’ have always been competing for supremacy, and even now, that’s still the case. We’re set to see them face off next week on SmackDown Live for the right to become the #1 contender to the WWE Championship, and yet a part of us feels like they’re still going to hold off on this until New Orleans.

Logic dictates that it needs to be Sami turning on Kevin before reverting back to his former babyface role, and all signs point towards that happening in the not so distant future.

Then, at the Superdome, Sami can finally exorcise his demons once and for all.
