Let's just be honest here - Dean Ambrose has not worked very well as a heel on Monday Night RAW, and it's all set to go downhill from here.
There's no denying that the Lunatic Fringe is one of the most talented individuals in the business and could have brought more depth to his character had he received the freedom.
However, it would be ideal if he turns babyface again and gets into a solid feud with someone like Samoa Joe.
If history is any indication, it was the Samoan Submission Machine who was responsible for putting Ambrose on the shelf and still remains one of the most dangerous men in the industry.
With Ambrose running places with the Intercontinental Championship, Joe could very well seize the opportunity and finally claim gold for the first time on the main roster.
Everything about this feud could be terrific. Joe needs someone to catapult him to the top of the mountain and he is very good at making things personal with his opponents.
