The WWE rumour mill has been running wild this week with speculation that James Ellsworth could return this Sunday to get involved at the Money In The Bank PPV in some capacity.

Assuming he interferes in this match, involving his former ally Carmella, rather than the eight-woman Money In The Bank ladder match, then one imagines he will try to help Asuka win the SmackDown Women’s title from “The Princess of Staten Island”.

After all, Carmella joined the rest of the SmackDown women’s division in effectively kicking Ellsworth off the roster just before he was released by WWE in November 2017, so maybe he will return to get some revenge against the woman he helped at last year’s MITB.
