2020 has been the biggest year yet for Bayley. Last spring, she became the surprise Money in the Bank winner and cashed in on Charlotte Flair (who was enjoying her shortest ever championship reign) to become SmackDown Women's Champion. This win also made Bayley the first-ever WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion.

Following on from her win, Bayley aligned with best friend Sasha Banks, and turned heel, shocking fans when she slashed the Bayley Buddies on an episode of SmackDown and debuted a new look.

Bayley managed to keep hold of the SmackDown Women's Championship against Lacey Evans, Naomi, and Tamina by resorting to underhand tactics, and often relying on Sasha Banks to interfere.

In June of this year, on an episode of SmackDown, Bayley and Banks teamed up to defeat Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for the Women's Tag Team Championships. Bayley and Banks - then dubbed the Boss N Hug Connection - were the inaugural champions in 2019 before they quickly dropped the titles to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35.

When Bayley and Banks became tag champions for the second time, Bayley also became a double champion, and dubbed herself "Bayley Dos Straps".
