Bobby Lashley may not have been successful in his effort to capture the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre at Backlash, but it looks like he has something big in store.

MVP's guidance has done wonders for him, but he isn't the only elite star that the veteran is trying to guide. MVP once again attempted to recruit United States Champion Apollo Crews, when he got him on the VIP Lounge.

While MVP respects the "fighting champion" spirit of Crews, he told the US Champion that he doesn't understand the business side of things, offering his services to Crews, who he's been praising a lot lately. MVP told Crews that if he took him under his wing, he would have a long and historic United States title reign, similar to his over a decade ago.

Crews defeated Shelton Benjamin clean after MVP tried distracting him at first. However, post-match, Bobby Lashley assaulted Apollo Crews, indicating that he's gunning for the US title at Extreme Rules 2020. We can see him beating Crews and capturing the title.
