#10 Kurt Angle is written off the role of a GM so that he can wrestle full time

Kurt Angle is, undoubtedly, one of the greatest mat wrestlers pro-wrestling fans have witnessed. After re-signing with WWE in 2017, Vince McMahon announced him as the General Manager of Raw. Although being signed as a wrestler, he only makes sporadic appearances as so with his last one being at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.

But now, since he has been relieved of his duties as the General Manager momentarily, we might see him more of him in the squared circle. According to Barnburner's Fired Up Podcast (via Thomas Lowson of Sportskeeda), WWE has released him from backstage duties so that he can concentrate on his in-ring skills and work towards being a full-time wrestler.

Kurt Angle himself has said that he would like to have another run as a World Champion in the WWE. If he wants to do so, he needs to be a full-time wrestler as it is highly unlikely that WWE would repeat a championship reign akin to that of Brock Lesnar.
