Well, it's been rumoured for a while that Aleister Black may well be on his way to the main roster sooner rather than later, and the World Cup may be the perfect time for the former NXT Champion to step up.
Black's run in NXT has been incredible. As one of the most dominant Superstars ever to set foot between the yellow ropes, Black has only been pinned by three men in WWE - and if he competed and kept that record, there's every chance we'd have a World Cup Winner in the NXT star.

#2 Canada - Kevin Owens

There may have been a plethora of Canadians to choose from, but there was only ever going to be one representative. There's a huge prize on offer in the form of the first ever WWE World Cup, so surely The Prizefighter is the man to go after it!
The second ever WWE Universal Champion and a former NXT, Intercontinental and United States Champion, Owens has held every singles title in the WWE with the exception of the WWE Championship. Owens going for the gold here would definitely make a great deal of sense!
