While the Women's Tag Team Champions have lost momentum after the Wild Card rule, the same cannot be said for the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Be it Monday Night RAW or the 'B' show, SmackDown Live, the Dreadlocked Dynamo has defended his title without hesitating a bit. He has come out as a true fighting champion thanks to the Wild Card rule.

The WWE Champion has made sure that he raises the prestige of the title he is holding by defending it frequently. Kingston has main evented multiple episodes of RAW after the Wild Card rule and the fact that he has not lost any of the main event bouts solidifies the fact that he has gained a ton of momentum on the roster.
