Bray and Nikki seem to be embracing the positive aspect of their characters by going against how they were projected as when they started with the company. This may sound like an idea to make them relevant again, and when the need arises, they can switch to the heel side of their characters.

The current character arcs of both Wyatt and Cross make them seem like the good guys, or at the very least, milder personas in comparison to their previous avatars. However, it could lead to a possible heel turn sometime in the near future. Such a change or character hiatus are usually a good options for the fans as they would know the different sides of the WWE superstars. A switch will get the WWE Universe talking, and that has always been 'Best For Business.'

While the future turn to the dark side together is one of the aspects, there is one more and quite possibly the most important reason why Nikki and Bray have decided to cross over to the brighter side.
