After a short hiatus, Charlotte Flair made her return to WWE programming after Extreme Rules. The Queen skipped Stomping Grounds and Extreme Rules but she is expected to be part of the SummerSlam PPV on August 11th.

When Charlotte faced Ember Moon on SmackDown last week, a large number of fans speculated that the former could become a part of the SmackDown Women's Championship match after defeating Moon, however, that didn't happen. Charlotte lost to Ember Moon in an incredibly short match.

In a backstage interview last week, Flair demanded a big-name opponent for herself at SummerSlam. Considering that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will be the special guest on SmackDown, we are surely in for a twist. Without a shadow of a doubt, Trish Stratus is one gigantic name of the women's division and a dream rivalry between Charlotte and Trish should ideally begin this week.

It will not be surprising if Charlotte decimates Trish on SmackDown Live this week. Judging by Trish's last match at Evolution, she is still competent enough to deliver an excellent match and the seven-time Women's Champion going go toe-to-toe with the Queen is the perfect fit for a SummerSlam card.
