#1 RAW's ratings could plunge

At this moment, NXT needs star power in order to increase their ratings. The show airs at the same time as AEW Dynamite and WWE obviously wants to gain more viewership than their new Wednesday night rival.

Triple H has already brought Finn Balor to the Yellow Brand to add more star power to the show, but it’s a truth that the former Universal Champion can’t benefit the show alone. Management needs to bring more mainstream names to NXT and an ideal choice for that would be Seth Rollins. He’s the first-ever NXT Champion and played a huge role in making NXT the resounding success that it is today.

While Rollins’ arrival to the Yellow Brand would certainly help the show, on the other hand, it would hurt RAW. This week’s show barely gathered 2 million eyeballs. Yes, it was a taped show and the results were already spoiled for some, but RAW has seen dwindling viewership numbers for some time now. If Rollins leaves the Red Brand for NXT, WWE would certainly struggle on Monday Nights. After all, Rollins is arguably the face of the show, and is the most popular full-time star after Becky Lynch.

'The Architect' is still a popular figure among the WWE Universe and Paul Heyman would not want to lose him to NXT, as it would prove difficult to stabilize the show's ratings without Seth Rollins.
