#2 Shinsuke Nakamura - Intercontinental Championship

An unlikely partnership with Sami Zayn could help rekindle Nakamura's WWE career.
An unlikely partnership with Sami Zayn could help rekindle Nakamura's WWE career.

Even though WWE has been only using Nakamura sporadically, the King of Strong Style has been using every second of screen time. His attack on The Miz on Smackdown LIVE a few weeks ago was brutal. Nakamura also defeated Finn Balor clean to become the Intercontinental Champion. "The Artist" is now indeed a credible heel champ.

Nakamura only lacked English speaking skills. But now with Sami Zayn in his corner, Nakamura can cover his only weakness in WWE. Zayn has been brilliant with his promos as well.

Moreover, the fact that The Miz is a RAW Superstar and the IC title is a Smackdown LIVE title is also not helping The A-Lister. Sure, The Miz could easily move to Smackdown LIVE if he defeats Nakamura but WWE would not be too keen to discredit a prosperous partnership of Zayn and Nakamura.
