Cody Rhodes may have won at Bad Blood due to his newfound alliance with Roman Reigns, but it was also why the Undisputed WWE Champion lost a friend – Kevin Owens. Unfortunately, other superstars could also have a change of heart about The American Nightmare.
At the 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teamed up to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, with assistance from a returning Jimmy Uso. However, their troubles did not stop with the win.
The Rock made a surprise return at the end of the event, seemingly targeting Roman, Cody, and Jimmy. Later, Cody was attacked by Kevin Owens in the parking lot. The champion's alliance with the Original Tribal Chief may have only brought him more problems and enemies, potentially leading to more conflict.
In this list, we will look at three WWE Superstars who could betray Cody Rhodes after Kevin Owens' attack.

#3. Seth Rollins, who has addressed Cody Rhodes' friendship with Roman Reigns
Before the major returns we got at Bad Blood 2024, Seth Rollins made a comeback on RAW. He immediately attacked Bronson Reed, as payback for the latter attacking him months ago. On this week's show, The Visionary also said he had not turned a blind eye to what transpired on SmackDown.
Despite being rivals, Seth helped Cody against The Rock and Roman at WrestleMania XL, risking his body, after losing the World Heavyweight Championship, just so that Rhodes could finish his story. Rollins could now feel betrayed by Cody and feel that The American Nightmare has forgotten the sacrifices he made.
#2. Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes is a WWE dream match for many
Since Cody returned to WWE, a star that many fans have wanted him to face is his former mentor Randy Orton. Both stars have since teamed up in the company, especially against The Bloodline, with Kevin Owens. After The Prizefighter attacked Rhodes, The Viper may follow suit.
The Apex Predator's history with Roman runs deep, especially after the latter injured him in 2022, causing Randy to miss 18 months of action. Cody choosing Reigns over his mentor and friend may be something that won't sit well with the 14-time World Champion.
#1. Sami Zayn could side with Kevin Owens
Although Kevin Owens has made several enemies in the Stamford-based promotion, one superstar who has remained loyal to him is Sami Zayn. The Prizefighter has betrayed Zayn on a couple of occasions and has also frowned upon Sami's friendship with Jey Uso.
They are now separated by brands but he and Sami could talk things over. As Kevin explains his side, Zayn could finally see his point and remember his own difficult past with Roman Reigns. Zayn could then decide to side with Owens, thus abandoning the Rhodes as well.
