Finally, the underwhelming feud between Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor came to an end at WrestleMania 35 when the Demon defeated the All Mighty clean and clear. Although Lashley can challenge Balor for the Intercontinental Championship in a rematch, that would be too predictable from WWE's point of view.

Balor has always been a fighting champion and he could issue an open challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and this could also pave the way for debuts on Raw as WWE always call up someone from NXT on the Raw after WrestleMania.

After the Royal Rumble in January, Balor has been involved in lackluster feuds and his match at WrestleMania was nothing but underwhelming. So, an open challenge for his title could make things a little more interesting and also help the Demon win over the WWE Universe again.
