A few interesting observations from this week's edition of Monday Night RAW (September 9)

This week's edition of Monday Night RAW (9th September 2019) saw a lot of contrasting moments. From "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ending the show on a high note to Bray Wyatt's ominous "Stranger Danger" episode of Firefly Fun House, last night's episode had it all.

The show itself was thoroughly engaging from start-to-finish. Most of the matches and segments had something interesting to offer. Even if the episode focused less on this Sunday's Clash of Champions Pay-Per-View, Stone Cold Steve Austin's presence made it all worthwhile in the end.

Let us take a look at some interesting observations from this week's episode of Monday Night RAW:

#3 "Stranger Danger" might be a subtle hint towards a brand new Wyatt Family in the future

It is no coincidence that Abby The Witch's clock turned to '11:19' from '3:16' in a matter of few seconds.

As explained in a separate article published by Sportskeeda's own Riju Dasgupta, 11:19 could mean a lot of things at once, the fact that '11-19-90' happened to be The Undertaker's debut date could signify that The Fiend might attack The Deadman during this week's SmackDown Live.

The Funhouse also likes to play around with several biblical references, as seen in the past. Austin 3:16 arises from biblical origins in the first place, so 11:19 could also refer to a verse from the bible as well:

I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 11:19)

Are the Firefly Fun House puppets mere vessels for new members of The Wyatt Family?

While The Fiend did not attack Steve Austin last night, 'Stranger Danger' revealed to us exactly why Bray Wyatt's malicious new character orchestrated attacks on famous WWE legends in the past.

So the question remains: Who will be The Fiend's next victim?

#2 How Baron Corbin's entry into the KOTR finals sets up a potential underdog story in the making

I had pointed out last week that Corbin's presence in this year's King of the Ring tournament was crucial to keep the stakes raised throughout this tournament's entirety.

Baron Corbin is the ultimate heat magnet in today's main roster.

So the fact that he will represent RAW during the final round of King of the Ring 2019 tells us that Chad Gable is most likely to win the entire tournament in the end.

Putting an underdog against the superstar that people love to hate ensures that the underdog will garner all the support he/she can.

Another interesting booking decision here is that WWE has easily eliminated all the favourites heading into the last phase of the tournament.

This has also re-introduced WWE's unpredictability factor for the time being.

There is also a chance that Corbin might pick up the win in the end, but either way, Elias vs. Corbin sounds far less appealing than Gable vs. Corbin.

#1 Stone Cold Steve Austin's toast to the 'good guys' was the ultimate theme of the night

"Good vs. Evil" is the most the basic theme upon which rests the entire foundation of this company.

With Clash of Champions taking place this Sunday, it looks like last night's RAW was a toast to the good guys or the babyfaces of the red brand.

Despite being the ultimate anti-hero of WWE, Stone Cold Steve Austin always embodied the spirit of a rugged babyface in the eyes of many fans.

More than a go-home show for Clash of Champions, last night's RAW was a celebration, which may be the episode's glaring weak point.

But it would make sense why WWE would rely on such celebratory affairs to end last night's RAW. After all, the show took place in New York's Madison Square Garden, which has been a legendary arena in WWE History.

Also, how good is to see that The Viking Raiders had something worthwhile to do this week?
