Will Sami Zayn make his surprise return on the upcoming episode of Raw?

WWE Raw following WrestleMania has always been one of the highly anticipated nights of the year. And rightfully so, from Brock Lesnar's return in 2012 to Ziggler's cash-in in 2013, from Goldberg and Paige's debut to Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair's sendoff, it has given us crazy and amazing moments over the years.

Furthermore, it has also laid down the foundations for a few potential feuds and blockbuster matches (The Rock vs John Cena for WrestleMania 28) in the past. Thus, fans would have their hopes high when Raw comes live from Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY.

Well, given a few of the exciting feuds expected to end at WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the year, WrestleMania 35, expect the upcoming episode of Raw to lay down the breadcrumbs for some exciting feuds. Also, a few potential returns could very well be on the cards for April 8.

On top of that, the upcoming episode could also give us a fair idea of WWE's future plans and answer some major questions.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at 3 interesting things which could happen on Raw following WrestleMania 35.

#3 Ricochet and Aleister Black become the new Raw tag team champions

Would it not be huge?
Would it not be huge?

While the Revival is set to defend their tag team gold against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, the duo of Aleister Black and Ricochet will face The Usos in a multi-team matchup to get their hands on the SmackDown tag team gold. However, titles changing hands in both matches seems a distant possibility.

Nonetheless, WWE could be planning to crown Black and Ricochet as the Raw tag team champions on the very next night. Yes, we all know how title changes have been synonymous not only to the pay-per-views but the night following them. It has happened before (Paige winning her title debut title against AJ Lee) and there is a high probability that it might happen this time as well.

While SmackDown has a well defined and developed tag team roster, it can't be said the same for Raw. Thus, WWE would like to build the Raw tag team division around Ricochet and Black, and it might very well start on April 8.

#2 Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt make their surprise returns

While an injury during his feud with Bobby Lashley sidelined Sami Zayn from WWE TV, minor injuries suffered during a car crash has kept Bray Wyatt off WWE TV since late 2018. However, both these high-profile names are expected to return to WWE sooner than later.

A potential return of Bray Wyatt has long been speculated by WWE fans. However, there have been conflicting reports on when WWE is planning on doing so. While a few reports tell us that a potential return of Bray could be on the cards at the show of shows, others have argued that it would happen on Raw, the following night.

Well, given the stacked match card of 'Mania, plus the history of surprise returns on the Raw following 'Mania, the return of Wyatt seems likely on April 8.

Well, the case with Sami Zayn is a bit different than Bray Wyatt. Sami has already declared that he will not feature at WrestleMania 35, however, he has long been medically cleared to compete. Thus, another surprising return seems highly likely.

#1 Roman Reigns confronts the Beast to tease a potential matchup

Lesnar might successfully defend his title against Seth Rollins

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to defend his Raw's Universal Championship against Seth Rollins on April 7. And while a win for Rollins is highly expected, recent reports tell us a different story.

Yes, according to recent reports, Lesnar is not scheduled to leave WWE and may very well successfully defend his title at 'Mania.

Thus, WWE could have Lesnar and Heyman feature on Raw to boast about their win at 'Mania only to be confronted by Roman Reigns. This could then soon turn into a brawl and might very well lay down the breadcrumbs for an epic matchup between The Big Dog and The Beast for SummerSlam 2019.

Given SummerSlam is scheduled for August 12, 2019, this would give WWE enough time to build Roman Reigns once again as the top babyface of the company.
