A few interesting observations from Clash of Champions 2019

The recently concluded WWE Clash of Champions PPV was a decent show in the opinion of several fans and critics. Although for much of the PPV, there wasn't a sense of urgency, especially in moments such as the WWE Championship match featuring Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton.

However, WWE Creative did a commendable job, and in the end, we got some intriguing plot points to look forward to in the next few weeks, with most notably a cliffhanger involving The Fiend at the end of the PPV.

Here are a few interesting observations from Clash of Champions 2019.

#3: The Fiend becoming a part of the Universal Title feud advances future WWE programming in the best way

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from last night's Clash of Champions event was that The Fiend executed a malicious attack on the current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. This happened after Rollins successfully defended his Universal Title in a high-stakes main event matchup against Braun Strowman.

The best part about all of this is that Wyatt and his Firefly Fun House segments can be successfully integrated into the Universal Title feud, which is supposed to be the main attraction of the show. This also gives Wyatt's new persona a proper direction.

For months now, Firefly Fun House segments have been stealing the show from the sidelines, and now Monday nights just got a whole lot more exciting with The Kingslayer taking on The Fiend.

Moreover, it feels strange (in a good way) to imagine a future where The Fiend runs the show as our new Universal Champion.

These new possibilities will surely benefit WWE Programming in the next few weeks, and whether or not you are ready, Wyatt's boldest gimmick is set to steal the spotlight on Monday Night RAW.
