It is quite common for superstars to return on the episode after PPVs because that garners more attention than any other time. Currently, there are many superstars who are out of action either due to injuries or because of lack of storylines.
Due to the former, stars like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Tye Dillinger, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, etc. are out of action, and there is Bray Wyatt who is out because WWE wanted him to mend his broken character.
We can expect two of this lot to return; one is Braun Strowman who could make a surprise return at TLC against the over confident Baron Corbin, taking away his GM responsibilities. The return could grab a lot of attention, and it will be considered extraordinary, as he is expected to be out for a longer time.
However, the return of Bray Wyatt is quite expected by the Universe because he has been out for a very long time, and he seems to be completely healthy.
He is in a state of flux because the creative are baffled as to what to do with him. Wyatt could be used effectively on SD Live, as the show has proven profitable for stars who play character driven roles, as they create compelling storylines for them.
