On this past Monday's edition of Raw, former multiple time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, who turned 51 this past December, will have his retirement match at WrestleMania 35.

However, it hasn't yet been revealed who the WWE Hall of Famer will end up in the ring with at the event. Following this past Monday's show, Angle pondered who he might face at this year's Mania, but he didn't end up naming his opponent.

Some have predicted that the former Raw and SmackDown general manager will end up going one on one with a guy like Baron Corbin, who Angle has feuded with for several months now. But that match doesn't seem likely, as it probably wouldn't end up being the big farewell match that people are hoping for. On top of that, the match is going to be at the biggest show of the year, so anything short of a big name opponent will be a disappointment.

Unfortunately, guys who Angle has never faced, someone like Daniel Bryan for example, already have matches booked for the show. But there are a few names from Angle's past who could confront our Olympic Hero this coming April.

#3 The Undertaker

As of right now at least, we don't know if The Undertaker will show up at this year's WrestleMania. As you'll recall last year, he didn't make an appearance leading up to the show, although everyone already knew that he was going to be there for a match against John Cena.

An Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle match at WrestleMania would undoubtedly garner a ton of interest simply because of both men's legendary status in the company. However, both of them are very beat up, so putting them together in a singles match might not be the right dynamic.

But if WWE is looking for a big name to fill that spot, The Undertaker is free, and he might be willing and able to go one on one with Kurt Angle in his retirement match.

#2 Samoa Joe

New WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe doesn't have an opponent for WrestleMania 35. While some have been predicting that he's going to defend his new title against the returning John Cena at the event, rumor has it that the current plans don't call for a Cena vs. Joe match at Mania.

If this match does happen, WWE probably won't acknowledge the fact that Joe was Angle's most famous rival back during their TNA days, which means that they definitely won't mention that he might be our Olympic Hero's best opponent ever.

At this point, who knows if Angle is capable of having one last classic match, but if he is, then it'd be smart for WWE to put him in the ring with Joe. The two obviously have great chemistry, plus it'd give the current US Champ and opportunity to retire a legend, which would be great for his character.

#1 John Cena

If WWE keeps Kurt Angle's WrestleMania opponent a secret until the event happens, and especially if the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion issues an open challenge, then I wouldn't be surprised to see it be accepted by John Cena.

Of course, everyone probably remembers how Cena made his WWE debut, so this would be mirroring that a little bit. They might not be able to perform at the high level they did back in 2002, but it'd still be a great moment to see Cena accept Angle's challenge.

As mentioned in the previous entry, Cena doesn't have a WrestleMania opponent, and having him accept a Kurt Angle open challenge would be a great way to end our Olympic Hero's career.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Cena decided to put Angle over if he ends up being the one to face the 1996 Olympic Gold Medal winner at next month's big event.
