As many expected, Roman Reigns was able to pick up the win in his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35, which means that the former WWE Universal Champion will likely be on to bigger and better things following his victory on WWE's grandest stage.

While many are predicting that Reigns will end up going after Seth Rollins' newly won Universal Championship, it's quite possible that WWE will hold off on having "The Big Dog" challenge for the red brand's main title, as there are a few other names that would make for better opponents at this point and time.

As for who could be next for Reigns on the red brand, well, there are a few choices, one of which is a rematch with Drew McIntyre. But, it's probably safe to assume that WWE will book him against someone else coming out of WrestleMania 35, and his first big post-Mania feud could be against one of the following three superstars.

#3 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar ended up losing the WWE Universal Championship to Seth Rollins during WrestleMania 35's opening match, and instead of going with an immediate rematch between "The Beast" and the red brand's new top guy, the company could decide to book a number one contender's match between the now former Universal Champ and Roman Reigns.

In case you forgot, Reigns defeated Lesnar for Monday Night Raw's main title prior to being forced to vacate it due to his illness, and he could be en-route to another victory over the ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion after the post-WrestleMania 35 installment of Raw.

Rumor has it that Lesnar is set to face Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship this coming August, which means that "The Beast" is probably going to leave WWE very soon. So, why not have Reigns take him out one last time before he makes his exit?

#2 Finn Balor

If WWE doesn't want to put Roman Reigns back in the Universal Championship picture, they could decide to have him challenge for the Intercontinental Title, which is currently being held by Finn Balor.

On top of that, WWE could add Bobby Lashley to the IC Title feud, making it a three-way program. This doesn't mean that Reigns has to end up winning the Intercontinental belt, but it'd at least give him something notable to do if the company doesn't want to book him against Seth Rollins coming out of WrestleMania 35.

If this ends up being a singles program between Reigns and Balor, then I'd expect to see Reigns get the Intercontinental Championship, as WWE likely doesn't want to have him lose any time soon. But if it's a three-way program, then they wouldn't have to beat Reigns, as he wouldn't need to be involved in the finish of the match.

#1 Seth Rollins

It's hard to imagine WWE going any other way here, despite the fact that this could result in the fans turning against Roman Reigns yet again.

Seth Rollins did defeat Brock Lesnar in a heelish way, as he nailed "The Beast" with a low blow while the referee was out of the ring. Could this be an indicator that WWE is planning on turning the new Universal Champion heel at some point in the near future? Maybe. But the more likely scenario is that they'll book a babyface vs. babyface match between the two ex-Shield members at their next pay per view.

Now, if Reigns does defeat Rollins for the Universal Championship, then that would be the perfect opportunity for WWE to turn Rollins heel against his former partner, as they could go with the "bitter loser" storyline coming out of the match. Or they could just end up shaking hands after the match, thus signifying the end of their program against one another.
