#2 To have him on the same brand as Charlotte Flair
It's no secret that Charlotte Flair and Andrade have been dating for many months. Though they haven't been a couple on TV, WWE may want them on the same brand to keep them happy. It allows them to travel together and generally spend more time with each other than if they were on separate brands.
We see other couples like Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch & Carmella and Corey Graves on the same brands as well. Therefore, there is no reason to doubt the same for Andrade and Charlotte.
On top of that, this allows Andrade's manager Zelina Vega to be on the same brand that Aleister Black is on. However, let us hope that these couples aren't addressed on TV.
#1 A fresh start
From being a main-eventer in NXT to rarely being used on TV, Andrade has struggled over the last few months. Touted to be the "next Rey Mysterio", The Mexican sensation has come nowhere close to emulating his wrestling idol. However, he's not to blame as he has worked hard to excel in the ring and on the mic.
Despite having a great manager in Zelina Vega, he took English lessons to get better at promos. That goes to show that he takes it seriously and is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top. When he lost the King of the Ring match to eventual finalist Chad Gable, fans were suspecting that it was the beginning of the end for Andrade.
However, after his move to RAW, things could change for the better. This move will provide him with a fresh start and rebuild him from the ground. They should be careful not to rush him into title feuds and instead gradually develop him with good feuds & storylines.
