3 things WWE can do to counter AEW

Everyone in the wrestling world is buzzing and excited by the prospect of having two major companies with national television America for the first time in 18 years.

Most fans are just hyped about all elite wrestling right now and then even if you love WWE you have to admit, AEW put on a pretty awesome, business-changing show on May 25th. WWE doesn't necessarily have to hit back with a bang immediately but they need to at least do some things in the next month or two to counter all elite wrestling's growing popularity.

All fans can be happy that due to the competition, we could get some of the best wrestling we have seen in a long time in the near future. WWE should do these three things soon to make sure they get their own fans buzzing about them rather than AEW.

#3 Announce Another Women's Only PPV

WWE needs to change the way they portray women in their storylines and what better way to do that than having a second all women's PPV.

Even if you are like me and think they tend to book their women's superstars quite poorly most of the time, last years evolution PPV was absolutely incredible and maybe the best main roster PPV of the year.

Doing another show like this could help for many reasons. One is to get more women watching the product than currently are and also to just put on a great show. It would again see interest from the mainstream media and while we may have to hear Michael Cole telling us about the history and all of that stuff, it would just be a good night of wrestling for all. Becky main eventing another PPV would help make her even more of a star also.

#2 Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins

The ultimate slap in the face to Jon Moxley, a feud between his shield brothers.

With their new wild card rule, Seth and Roman could have a proper feud and even main event a PPV. With this happening and Renee on commentary, this would be a huge shot at Moxley and AEW.

Obviously, Rollins and Reigns are still friends with Jon as are others on the roster, but with everything, WWE did for Moxley in his exit, such as him main eventing Fastlane and having his own network special to say goodbye, Vince will probably be extremely angry at him.

Doing this would also probably create some buzz as any type of shield feud is over with the fans and it would be more than ever now with Seth being a really over babyface and Roman being more over than ever. This could be a smart idea from WWE if they do go ahead and do it.

#1 Bray Wyatt Winning The WWE Title

Bray Wyatt's gimmick used to be super over but it fizzled out over time with bad booking. Now they have a chance to make him a top star.

When many first saw the firefly funhouse they were baffled and wondered what the hell was going on. But after the first few, people realized this thing could take off. There is more interest in Wyatt than ever and it's time to capitalize on that.

Kofi is a great babyface and Bray could be used as the perfect heel in the puzzle and what better to get everyone's attention back on WWE, than having Bray defeat Kofi for the WWE title. It would be very shocking and considering so many people are into this new gimmick, it would be the absolute right move.

WWE needs to realize that when they have something special they should just do everything to make it big and with AEW around they need that more than ever. This would be the perfect shock to make people more interested in WWE again and get the focus of the wrestling world off of AEW and back in them.
