3 shocking things WWE should do on SmackDown's next episode (13 November 2018)

WWE has just one week to build-up to Survivor Series

Survivor Series is just one week away, and WWE hasn't properly worked towards hyping up the show. The last episodes of Raw and SmackDown were not very interesting in my opinion, and didn't properly hype the WWE Universe for Survivor Series.

WWE has just one week to build-up to Survivor Series, and if the build-up on the upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown is same as last week's, we can be sure that many fans will be disappointed, and may not tune in to watch Survivor Series.

WWE's current ratings are falling, and they need to pull all the stops to boost ratings. In this article, I will list 3 things which should happen on next week's SmackDown, making it much more interesting, hyping up Survivor Series in the process.

#3 Raw invades SmackDown Live

Raw should invade SmackDown like last year
Raw should invade SmackDown like last year

Survivor Series is just one week away, and an invasion from Raw is the perfect way to build tension between the SmackDown and Raw roster. In the past, we've seen the brands invade and gain the upper hand on their opponents before the pay per view.

Baron Corbin wants Raw to be the superior brand, and he is trying his best to make a strong team of Raw Superstars. He will definitely want Raw to go into Survivor Series with full momentum, and an invasion is a perfect angle.

During the invasion, we could see some very interesting moments where arch rivals work together, or great friends give each other a hell of a beating.

We could see Rey Mysterio fighting Kurt Angle, or Jeff Hardy helping The Miz. The fans will definitely be in for a treat if the invasion happens. An invasion will also make some captivating television after the dull episodes of Raw and SmackDown last week.

#2 Daniel Bryan turns heel

Last week on SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan and The Miz were made the co-captains of the SmackDown Live men's team. This was a strange pairing as the two men have a history together, and we knew that we would see some friction between them on the road to Survivor Series.

The last member of the SmackDown Live men's team was to be decided by a match between the choices of Miz and Bryan for the fifth member. The Miz chose Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan chose Jeff Hardy. Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy and became the fifth member of the SmackDown team.

This made Daniel Bryan snap, and he attacked Samoa Joe, and in the process he also attacked The Miz and Shane McMahon. This move by Daniel Bryan shocked the fans as we have never seen this side of Daniel Bryan. This is the perfect time for Bryan to turn heel.

This is a move fans would not expect at all. It will also open many options for new storylines and feuds for Daniel Bryan. The fans would be intrigued to see how Bryan's heel turn will play out at Survivor Series, but he may not even be a part of the match. This brings me to my next point.

#1 AJ Styles loses the WWE Championship

Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel, and became the new Universal Champion. WWE then announced another champion vs champion match for Survivor Series, setting up a match between Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles.

These two men will definitely have a good match at Survivor Series, as both of them are supremely talented, but we saw the same match last year, and with the current booking of The Beast Incarnate, we can be sure that the WWE will not put Styles over Lesnar.

Styles' run as WWE Champion just completed one year. No doubt Styles is one of the best wrestlers in WWE right now, but we all can agree that his current championship run has become boring.

The fans aren't excited about the match, and one way to hype up the fans is by making another superstar the WWE Champion. This would shock the WWE Universe, and the perfect candidate to replace AJ Styles is Daniel Bryan.

With Bryan turning heel, he could attack Styles, and then Styles would demand a match with Bryan. The match would get sanctioned, and Bryan beats Styles.

Fans would be startled, and they will definitely be more invested in the match between Bryan and Lesnar, rather than Styles and Lesnar. A match between Lesnar and Bryan would be epic, and it would be hard to predict the winner.

If WWE could pull off these 3 things at SmackDown's next episode, it could even be the show of the year.
