3 WWE Superstars Who Should Be Triple H's WrestleMania 35 Opponent and 2 Who Shouldn't

The Game
The Game

The WrestleMania season is going to hit soon in a few weeks and as always it would be a remarkable event as we will see many WWE legends, superstars and young wrestlers colliding in the squared circle.

Triple H has been one of the most consistent performers at WrestleMania after The Undertaker. He has given many memorable matches in his high profile career. So, it would be exciting to see whom Triple H will battle at the "Show of Shows."

At Crown Jewel, he teamed up with his friend Shawn Michaels to fight the Brothers of Destruction. During the match, he injured his pectoral muscle, which needed surgery and has been recovering from the surgery since then. The Game has enough time to heal from his injury and so possibly he could recover until WM 35.

Here are the 3 superstars who should be Triple H’s WM opponent and 2 who should not.

#1. Should Be - Shane McMahon

Here Comes the Money
Here Comes the Money

Since his return to WWE Shane McMahon has been a part of every Wrestlemania and wrestled with stars like The Undertaker, AJ Styles and the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. With 2019 almost upon us, WWE will start focusing on their road to WrestleMania 35. It is still unknown with whom the Prodigal Son will battle at the Grandest stage of them all.

Triple H vs Shane McMahon is a dream match for many fans and it will be great if the two face off at WrestleMania 35. Despite having a family relation between them they could fight against each other for their legacies.

If Vince McMahon adds a Hell in a Cell stipulation to the match between these legends, there’s no doubt we will witness a thriller at the Grandest Stage of them all.

#2. Should Be - Batista

Batista personally teased the match at SmackDown Live 1000 when The Evolution united for the show. He told that The Game hasn’t beat him thus far. Batista may return at the Royal Rumble PPV of 2019 and would start his feud with Triple H.

This match even makes sense as due to Triple H, Batista quit WWE. The Animal has revealed that he wants to come back in the WWE and probably for even a longer run this time. If Triple H recovers from his injury soon, we can see the hot feud between the two, as even a brawl between them before WrestleMania will make this the most anticipated match of the year.

To make the match card of WrestleMania 35 even more interesting, WWE can add the stipulation if Batista losses he quits. This feud has the potential to deliver the best match of WrestleMania next year.

#3. Should Be - The Rock

The Rock is in the news for many months with his in-ring return to the company at Wrestlemania 35. The date of the Great One‘s return is not fixed because of his busy schedule in Hollywood but there’s a huge possibility that he will return as a wrestler to compete one more time in the squared circle.

We know that Triple H and The Rock have some unfinished business with each other. We saw a major segment involving the two at Wrestlemania 31 where The Rock confronted The cerebral Assassin when he mentioned that The Authority always wins.

The Rock has always had a rivalry with the Authority since the Attitude era and with the Authority taking over RAW and SD Live, the Rock could well return to confront the McMahons, developing a WM 35 feud with HHH in the process.

#1. Should Not - The Undertaker

WWE has a habit of recreating history
WWE has a habit of recreating history

The Undertaker and Triple H battled in many great matches in the history of WWE when they collided against each other. Keeping in this mind WWE creative team organised one last match between these legends at Super-Show Down but the match didn’t live up to expectations.

To continue the story-line, WWE planned a tag team match by adding Shawn Michaels and Kane in the match but this match too ended up as a complete disaster. Since then none superstars have stepped foot in the ring once again.

We all know how the Creative team thinks and in order to close the chapter, WWE could plan another match between The Deadman and The Game, to settle some unfinished business. But the fans want to get rid of this rivalry due to the age of the 2 superstars.

#2. Should Not Be - Finn Balor

Finn Balor vs Triple H

Finn Balor is a talented wrestler who has graduated from Triple H’s brand, NXT. Due to bad bookings and injuries, the Balor Club leader hasn’t got the title opportunities he should have got. If Balor doesn’t get a title shot at Wrestlemania 35, he might end up wrestling in a singles match, most probably against Triple H, in order to receive a huge push.

Both The Cerebral Assassin and Finn Balor are supreme wrestlers, and there’s no doubt they can deliver a great match at Wrestlemania 35. If we analyze, this match doesn’t make any sense because Finn Balor deserves a push in the title picture by winning the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber match rather being in a non-title match at the Show of Shows.

Finn Balor has the potential to main event Wrestlemania 35 and a match versus Triple H could waste another year of Finn Balor’s WWE career.
