Seth Rollins and his group dominated Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown ahead of Money in the Bank. Rollins was confronted by Cody Rhodes, who is set to team up with Jey Uso and take on John Cena and Logan Paul at Saturday night's premium live event in Los Angeles.

But during Jey's entrance, Rollins appeared to whisper something to Rhodes. Many speculated what The Visionary might have told The American Nightmare, stirring the pot less than 24 hours before the MITB PLE.

Let's look at three potential things Seth Rollins may have whispered to Cody Rhodes on Friday's show on the USA Network.

#3. Seth Rollins probably revealed a secret about their group

One of the reasons why many WWE fans were excited after Seth Rollins joined forces with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania 41 was the possibility of their involvement with The Rock and John Cena. However, it didn't happen, and Rollins' group, along with Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, seems to have a different agenda.

But with WWE needing a jolt of excitement like last year, maybe they could reveal that Rollins was working for The Rock all along. Perhaps he was the one who sold his soul to The Final Boss, and he finally told Cody Rhodes about it last Friday on SmackDown.

While the involvement of The Rock is unlikely at this point, Seth Rollins could look to be his own boss and expand his group. They already look menacing with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in tow, showing their dominance last Friday by taking out most of The Visionary's opponents at Money in the Bank.

With that said, Rollins could have told Cody Rhodes to join his group for a chance to regain the Undisputed WWE Championship from John Cena. A heel Rhodes has been on some fans' bingo card, the one they call 'Homelander Cody,' who could be a ruthless version of The American Nightmare.

Some fans might be forgetting the story between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Rhodes has had Rollins' number since returning at WrestleMania 38. They legitimately didn't like each other during Rhodes' first stint, but they put their differences aside to tell an amazing story that concluded at WrestleMania 40.

After finishing his story, The American Nightmare shook hands with Rollins, who acted as his 'shield' against Roman Reigns and The Rock. With The Visionary back to being a heel, maybe he's looking to collect what Cody owes him at the right time.
