Dio Maddin was mauled by Brock Lesnar on the November 4, 2019, episode of RAW, and he tweeted hours ago that his goal in 2020 is to beat Brock Lesnar. With the WWE Champion coming back to RAW after Survivor Series, we may see Maddin also show up and challenge him to a match.

This match would be for the title, and while The Humble Advocate would try to verbally smack this new and unexpected opponent, one would have to see how Brock responds to this challenge. This match may not be confirmed on the spot because Dio has never wrestled on the RAW roster, but the next option could be a great way to hype his return and the character.

It would also put into perspective that while Bobby Lashley is busy with his current storyline, Maddin can be used as a filler until Royal Rumble, becoming one of the forces to be reckoned with on the Red brand.
