Fans have been complaining for a long time now that Vince does not listen to their requests and opinions, which is true to some extent as we have seen some questionable bookings made by the management over the years, but after this week's SmackDown episode, it is safe to say that WWE does not ignore their fans completely.

Raw's 25th anniversary's special episode received a lot of outrage from the fans as many of the segments were illogical and not managed properly.

WWE clearly listened to that criticism as they gave us a good show on SmackDown's 1000th episode. Even though this show was about nostalgia as many former wrestlers made special appearances, they were limited, and no one over-stayed their welcome.

The main focus was on the current wrestlers as we got to see many good matches mixed with brief segments from those former wrestlers, which is the way to book such auspicious occasions. WWE utilised their 2-hour slot really well.
