Will Rollins respond this week?
Will Rollins respond this week?

We are exactly one week away from WWE SummerSlam and it will be a crucial week for the Red Brand. While several big matches are already set for the Biggest Party of the Summer, some new matches could be added this week. After an action-packed episode last week, RAW will be eying to continue the momentum.

Brock Lesnar stole the show last week as he decimated Seth Rollins. The Beastslayer ate multiple F-5s, including one in the backstage area. Ricochet earned the right to face AJ Styles last week when the former won a Gauntlet Match. A major surprise also took place as Gallows & Anderson won the RAW Tag Team Titles; moreover, Maria Kanellis won the 24/7 Title.

The next RAW will be held at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since it will be the final RAW before SummerSlam, we could see a stupendous episode. Here we discuss three things WWE could be planning on RAW this week.

#3 The RAW Women's Championship Match becomes a Submission Match

Natalya and Becky Lynch are set to collide for the most coveted women's prize of the Red Brand. The Queen of Harts won a Fatal 4-Way Match to become the number one contender for The Man. The tension has risen between the two women and they are expected to have a heated segment on RAW this week.

When Natalya became the number one contender for Becky, the two women took shots at each other. Subsequently, Natalya and Becky had a brawl and they also put their hands on each other last week.

Natalya challenged Becky in a Submission Match at SummerSlam. Considering the champion is a fierce competition, she is likely to accept the challenge on RAW. It will be interesting to see whose Submission is superior when the match unfolds.

#2 Rey Mysterio challenges Andrade in a Mask vs Hair Match

After returning to WWE last year, Rey Mysterio has crossed paths with Andrade a couple of times. The former WWE Champion also faced Andrade in the Gauntlet Match last week but we witnessed a shocking incident. The former NXT Champion pinned Rey Mysterio, then went on to humiliate him.

Andrade ripped off the mask of Rey Mysterio and the latter had to cover his face with his hands. Ricochet, who was the last entrant of the match, saved Rey Mysterio. Considering Mysterio is a titanic name, it was certainly a disrespectful act and WWE might move forward with this storyline.

In a backstage interview last week, Rey Mysterio mentioned teaching a lesson to Andrade. Therefore, the former WWE Champion could challenge Andrade at SummerSlam. Considering the mask is involved, it could be a 'Mask vs Hair' match. Mysterio faced CM Punk in a 'Mask vs Hair' match nine years ago where he emerged victorious.

#1 Seth Rollins avenges the vicious attack

The Universal Championship Match is set for SummerSlam where Seth Rollins will fight Brock Lesnar. It was just an ordinary match for the fans until last week. Seth Rollins faced Dolph Ziggler in a singles match on RAW. While the match was impressive, the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar interfered and caused a disqualification finish.

The Beast Incarnate entered the ring and attacked his SummerSlam opponent. Lesnar delivered two German Suplexes to Rollins, proceeded by multiple F-5s, including on the steel chair. Moreover, Rollins ate another vicious F-5 on the stretcher when Lesnar took him out of the Ambulance. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was one of the most brutal assaults in recent memory.

Although the assault garnered the attention of the WWE Universe last week, Rollins looked weak before heading to SummerSlam; hence, it will not be surprising if he turns it around this week. Considering Rollins took down the Beast before, he could do it again and he might go low.
