WrestleMania 35 will take place on April 7, 2019, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It has already been confirmed that Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship against the Men's Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins and that Ronda Rousey will defend the Raw Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair.

It is also confirmed that Buddy Murphy will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against either Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Humberto Carillo or Oney Lorcan, or Cedric Alexander or Akira Tozawa.

There is still one more pay per view left until WrestleMania 35 and that is Fastlane and after that, there is about one month left until WWE's biggest show of the year.

However, before we get to WrestleMania 35, there are many things that WWE needs to do.

#3 Establish clear challengers for the other championships

While WWE has determined clear challengers for the Raw Women's, Cruiserweight, Universal, and to a lesser extent the WWE Championship, they have not yet set up any challengers for the SmackDown Women's, Women's Tag Team, United States, Intercontinental, SmackDown Tag Team, and Raw Tag Team Titles.

All of those championships should and will obviously be defended at the pay per view so WWE should start to establish clear challengers for these championships.

Asuka and R-Truth, in particular, have been marginalized as both have only recently started appearing on NXT again.

It may be best for R-Truth to lose the United States Championship to Andrade so that El Idolo can defend the United States Championship against either Rey Mysterio in a singles match or a number of competitors in a ladder match.

Asuka has a number of options to defend her championship against but the best option would be against Naomi, Nikki Cross, Sonya Deville, or Lacey Evans. Finn Balor should arguably defend the Intercontinental Championship against a breakout star like Drew McIntyre or one of the NXT call ups in Aleister Black or Ricochet.

The Boss N' Hug Connection has a number of potential challengers but the best ones would be the IIconics, Fire and Desire, or an NXT team like the Sky Pirates.

WWE must also be sure to put a spotlight on the tag team division which needs it. The Revival should arguably defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against a team like Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder or #DIY.

Meanwhile, the Usos should face off with The Hardy Boyz in a dream matchup. All of these championship matchups deserver a spotlight and must be given a lot of attention by WWE, heading into WrestleMania.

#2 Book the in-ring returns of both Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt

Both Sami Zayn and Bray Wyatt have not been seen in months. While Sami Zayn has been on the shelf with two torn rotator cuffs, Bray Wyatt has simply not been used.

However, WWE has been teasing both of their returns and if they are going to return, then they should return before WrestleMania 35.

Neither Sami Zayn nor Bray Wyatt has really had any WrestleMania moments (or even won a match at WrestleMania) so they should be given a chance to do so at WrestleMania 35.

One option would be to put both Superstars in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, although that would not be the preferred option.

The best option for Sami Zayn would for him to be given a singles match with either Kevin Owens or with Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor.

The best option for Bray Wyatt for him to either feud with recent NXT call up Aleister Black or even WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. Both of these talented men deserve WrestleMania moments and should arguably be brought back immediately after Fastlane.

#1 Establish a WrestleMania feud for John Cena

John Cena has been on another hiatus from WWE since he is filming a movie but WWE must get him back in time to establish a WrestleMania feud for him.

Cena is at a great stage in his career where he can both have great matches and put over other Superstars. Therefore, he should definitely have a match at WrestleMania 35 where there are a number of Superstars he can face.

The Leader of the Cenation can challenge Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor for the championship at WrestleMania 35.

He can also challenge someone who was once family in Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.

However, the best option would be for him to face off with and put over Drew McIntyre who can use a big victory to push his career to the next level. Whether it is Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, or Drew McIntyre, John Cena should participate at WrestleMania.
