3 Things WWE should've done at WrestleMania 35

The 2019 edition of WrestleMania is done and dusted and is officially in the history books. We had some brilliant moments throughout the night - especially Kofi Kingston's triumph over the WWE Champion "the new" Daniel Bryan, and Becky Lynch pinning Ronda Rousey to capture both the women's title in WWE. The show has been receiving good reviews from the fans around the world, and it is for good reasons.

The results have been brilliant for most of the part, and the storytelling was exceptional too. However, WWE has made some mistakes during WrestleMania 35 - ranging from simple screw-ups to getting the winner of certain matches wrong. In a night full of joy and happiness, these mistakes may seem negligible - but may hurt the product in the long run.

So, in this list, we will take a look at a few things WWE should have done at WrestleMania 35.

#3 A clean loss for Brock Lesnar

The Universal title match kicking off WrestleMania 35 was brilliant. Paul Heyman was outstanding, and the way the commentators put Brock Lesnar's tactics of catching Seth Rollins off guard made the segment even more entertaining. But the fact that WWE has not confided Seth Rollins to beat the Beast Incarnate clean is baffling.

Lesnar has been holding the Universal title hostage for the majority of the last two years. Thus, the pay off of such a lengthy and boring reign should have been brilliant and worth the wait. However, WWE has screwed up the title change yet again.

Rather than pushing Rollins to beat Lesnar clean, WWE made the Architect use a low blow on Lesnar to secure the win. While it protects Lesnar, it did not do anything much for Rollins other than crown him as the Universal Champion.

#2 A Drew McIntyre victory

Other than the fact that this one was the Roman Reigns' first WrestleMania appearance after beating cancer, there is no denying that Drew McIntyre needed to win their clash at WrestleMania 35. Reigns had nothing to gain from the victory whereas, with Brock Lesnar gone, McIntyre could have used the win to promote himself as the top heel of the red brand.

However, WWE has yet again decided to repeat its motto of pushing Roman Reigns. Even though McIntyre dominated for the majority of the match, the ending to the match was terrible. McIntyre could not hit the Claymore even once and had to succumb to a single spear from the Big Dog.

All the credibility built up by the Scottish Psychopath is now down the drain and WWE is to be blamed for this incident.

#1 A memorable farewell for Kurt Angle

A Cena - Angle clash would have made more sense to end Kurt's career.
A Cena - Angle clash would have made more sense to end Kurt's career.

Did Kurt Angle put over his opponent in his farewell match? Yes. Can Baron Corbin use the heel heat to solidify himself as a top heel on RAW? Yes. Will WWE use Corbin's heel heat effectively? Doubt it.

To be fair, Corbin defeating Kurt Angle should do wonders for everyone involved. Even if you don't like Corbin, there is no denying that he is a good wrestler. But the issue with WWE is in two weeks, WWE will have someone from the mid-card run over Corbin clean in an impromptu match, making the whole " Legend putting younger talent over" storyline useless.

Now if WWE were smart, they could have at least given us a memorable match by pitting Angle against someone like John Cena. Even swapping both Corbin and Drew McIntyre would have been better than what we witnessed yesterday.
