#3 A new champion is crowned...sort of
Following the last bit of taping for AEW Dark, the crowd was treated to free merchandise, courtesy of SCU and Cima. The AEW Tag Team Champions launched shirts into the fans until they'd cleaned out their box.
As the ring slowly filled up with the Young Bucks, Cody, and even Brandon Cutler, the majority of the competitors in the ring had tossed away their shirts, sending more fans home with some exciting, albeit sweaty, souvenirs.
One fan was a bit luckier than the rests, however. The performers noticed that it was the birthday of a young boy in the audience, and decided to do something special for him. Of course, it was at the expense of Brandon Cutler.
Cutler was ordered to lay down, mainly because his record is already terrible, so one more loss couldn't hurt him. The child then pinned Cutler and was crowned by Cody the new AEW Charlotte Champion.
