Soon after making his WWE exit, Rusev made a Youtube account and regularly posts videos talking about his time in WWE. In one of his videos, Rusev talks about working with WWE announcer Corey Graves in NXT, and it seems the two didn't get along too well back then. Rusev stated that Corey once yelled at him just because he asked him to do a spot in a match. Corey told Rusev in response that he didn't want to do it.

Oh, also one time, Corey Graves yelled at me before a match, I never told you that. Because I wanted to do something, he didn't want to do it. I was like, "It's not really a big deal, you know, it's just a little thing I want to do." He said I don't want to do that.

A career-ending injury led to Graves becoming a commentator in NXT, and later on RAW and SmackDown. On the other hand, Rusev enjoyed a lengthy run on the main roster and feuded with the likes of John Cena, Roman Reigns, and many other big names. He was let go by WWE back in April.
