#2. Randy Orton
'The Viper' Randy Orton has been content with putting younger wrestlers over for the last few years. He's not the once dominant 'Apex Predator' he once was, and there is nothing wrong with that, as that character was growing somewhat stale. The savvy veteran is all about giving others the rub, which would ideally allow them to carry the company in the future, the same way Orton did in the past. Orton recently came up short in an epic WWE Championship feud against Kofi Kingston, but made Kingston look fantastic in the process.
A few weeks ago, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair picked Randy Orton as the captain for Team Flair. They will take on Team Hogan at Crown Jewel, and the captain of Team Hogan is interestingly Seth Rollins. At the PPV, Orton could go over on Rollins, which could propel him to the top of RAW's Universal Championship scene, provided Wyatt doesn't take the title from Rollins first (see our first slide).
If Orton and Rollins do face-off, it will be interesting to see if 'The Viper' wins, as he has never held this title before. Nostalgia loving fans certainly wouldn't mind seeing him have one final run with a major title.
