The 27th 30-man Royal Rumble saw Batista win it, who will go on to challenge the WWE Champion at the WrestleMania XXX.

1: The 1st entrant of the Royal Rumble has won it only twice. Shawn Michaels in 1995 and Chris Benoit in 2004.

2: Only twice the 28th entrant has won the Royal Rumble. Both of them have been Batista, in 2005 and 2014.
3: Most number of Royal Rumble wins; record held by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Batista, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and John Cena have all won it twice.
4: Only 4 times in the history has a Diva entered the Royal Rumble. Chyna in 1999 and 2000. Beth Phoenix in 2010 and Kharma in 2012.

17: Glenn Jacobs holds the record for most number of Royal Rumble appearances by entering in a total of 17 Royal Rumbles. 15 times as Kane and 1 a piece as Isaac Yankem in 1996 and as Diesel in 1997. Kane has never won the Royal Rumble, despite featuring in it the most number of times.

39: Total Eliminations in Cumulative Royal Rumbles. Kane tied Shawn Michaels who holds the record for most number of eliminations in the Royal Rumble history. Glenn Jacobs eliminated 38 stars as Kane and 1 as Isaac Yankem.
