Like Rusev, Elias' gimmick got over with the fans organically in the last year or so. The guitar-wielding Superstar is touted for big things in the WWE, and has even launched his own album recently!
Elias, currently, does not have interesting feuds going on for him, and with SummerSlam fast approaching, he needs a good feud to keep his momentum going.
The former NXT star has been in the upper mid-card in the last six months and is set for a big push, which may include a match against The Rock in the near future as Elias has called him out a couple of times.
Before The Rock match, Elias could be booked to wrestle against The Undertaker to up his current standing in the company. He also ties in well with The Undertaker storyline. At WrestleMania, when Cena called out The Undertaker and was waiting for The Deadman to accept his challenge, Elias appeared but was beaten by Cena.
Elias could possibly take a leaf out of Cena's book and challenge The Undertaker. This would make a very interesting match!
