#1 Announced cash-in?

Since when did we start having announced cash-ins?

As mentioned earlier, superstars have waited day in and day out to ensure that they strike at the right time to make their cash-in victories as sweer as possible. Only a few have miscalculated and lost the chance in the process, while most of the top superstars have been smart and lucky enough to score the win.

Last year’s winner of the briefcase Braun Strowman made an announced cash-in at Hell in a Cell which ended in a no-contest after interference from Brock Lesnar. This was an odd move, as superstars wait for a champion to either be down after an attack or after a long match to cash-in so that they have the maximum chance of winning the title.

Similarly, this year WWE has ensured that Paul Heyman has repeatedly spoken about when Lesnar will cash in his title and possibly against whom which takes away the purpose of the briefcase. How does it make it any different from a Royal Rumble win, except for the place where the championship match is held?
