According to official WWE polls, this is the superstar that the WWE Universe is desperate to see once again. AJ Lee was one of the pioneers that helped to kickstart the women's revolution, and she held the title on three occasions. The 31-year-old excels in the ring and she had one of the most developed characters during her spell in the WWE.

The wrestler played a huge role in transforming the women's division into what it is today, and this arguably makes AJ Lee the star most deserving of a triumphant return at Evolution. A few barriers to her participation may remain as Lee revealed in her memoir that injuries had influenced her decision to retire in 2015 and that she was placed in the crossfires due to her husband's (CM Punk) controversial departure from the company.

Even if it is just a cameo performance, we hope to see AJ Lee's contributions honored at this weekend's landmark event.
