4 bold predictions about four superstars after the latest episode of RAW (April 29, 2019)

With the April 29 episode of RAW, WWE has put a strong foot forward in shaping up the Money in the Bank card. The show may not have always been electric, but it was definitely sold. Most importantly, it set up matches and hinted at more possible matchups.

The company via Alexa Bliss announced the competitors for the men and women's ladder matches for the MITB briefcases. The dream match between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins became official. Joe lost yet again, and we saw another "Firefly Funhouse" segment.

With WWE truly moving ahead into a new era, leaving behind superstars of the past, RAW gave us a lot of hints about the future.

In this article, we make 5 bold predictions about the future of 4 top superstars after RAW.

#1 Drew McIntrye's time is now

The next Mr. Money in the Bank
The next Mr. Money in the Bank

Alexa Bliss announced Drew McIntyre as one of the four superstars who'd participate in the MITB Ladder Match from RAW. Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, and "The One and Only" Ricochet are the three other participants.

While 4 men from SmackDown will also participate in the match, we strongly feel that McIntyre will be the next Mr. Money in the Bank.

McIntyre has been one of RAW's workhorses since 2018, performing in the upper mid-card or main event scene. He has looked impressive. Besides an emphatic loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, WWE has protected him.

McIntyre is WWE's 'next big thing', and there is no reason for anyone to think otherwise. McIntyre is everything Vince McMahon wants in a WWE Superstar, and more. Usually, MITB does great things for winners, and the rumors suggest that WWE has big plans for McIntyre.

McIntyre is Championship material, and WWE needs top heels on RAW to feud with Seth Rollins. He is the answer. Winning the MITB briefcase should be a start to a main event push for him.

#2 Joe will beat Mysterio at Money in the Bank

JOE!
JOE!

WWE has this habit of trading wins and losses between superstars. In continuation of this habit, Rey Mysterio defeated Samoa Joe on RAW, avenging his 1-minute loss to Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35. The match and the result were not meaningless since it might have been used to set up a Joe and Mysterio US Championship match at Money in the Bank.

While the WWE Universe has been expecting Joe to clash with Strowman, this wouldn't be a bad idea for two reasons. Firstly, Mysterio had an injury at 'Mania. This match will give us the golden contest we should have gotten at 'Mania. Secondly, it might be a wise idea to give Joe another PPV win against Mysterio, before he moves on to battle the Monster Among Men.

Recently rumors have spread that John Cena might challenge Samoa Joe for the US Championship at MITB, but from what we have seen on TV, Mysterio vs Joe looks a safer bet.

Most importantly, Samoa Joe would unleash the monster on Mysterio at MITB. He needs a brutal and scathing win, much like what Brock Lesnar did to John Cena at SummerSlam in 2014.

If WWE has big plans for Joe, this may not be a far-fetched prediction.

#3 Evans may not beat Lynch at MITB, but she's a WWE dream

Lacey Evans hasn't been on the main roster for a long time, but the impact of the stay matters more than the length of the stay. In the little we have seen of Evans, we feel the online memes comparing her to Charlotte can't be more ironically correct since these two ladies might have two things in common, in the future.

Firstly, they both will probably lose to 'The Man' Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank. Secondly, they both will win the women's championship at some point in the future.

Lacey Evans is yet to prove herself as an in-ring competitor, but she has held herself solidly in her rivalry against The Man of WWE. In fact, she's been made to look Lynch's equal so far, often coming off as a badass with her nasty rights.

WWE seems to be high on the Lady. Her gimmick is different, and she pulls it off with sass. Aside from her in-ring gear, everything points at a future women's champion y' all.

#4 AJ Styles could soon turn heel, and he may have brothers by his side

Will he turn heel?
Will he turn heel?

Have you felt that the reception for the babyface AJ Styles on RAW has been quite underwhelming? The Phenomenal One is as good as it gets in pro wrestling. He can truly call himself the 'Best in the World'.

Styles' in-ring skills are magical, he has been solid on the microphone, and his character work is phenomenal. Yet, there's something about Styles that's missing in his WWE run currently.

He is missing an edge to his character. Hence, it's time to give him that extra edge. It's time to give him his 'good' brothers. It's time to reform 'The Club'. Finally, it's time for AJ Styles to turn heel. We do think WWE will do the same, as the Good Brothers have been moved to RAW out of nowhere.

WWE missed an opportunity with Sanity, didn't they? Factions can work wonders. Especially as WWE is looking to regain some of its lost ground, with AEW making moves. The company is trying to better its content by leaps and bounces, and an AJ Styles led group could be a fine prospect.
