Though last night great matches were, so were the botches

WWE presented their one of the Biggest Four PPV's this Sunday at the Barclays Center, NYC. Again they were successful to deliver an action-packed PPV. What an exciting night it was!

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

Last night we saw the likes of Ronda Rousey defeating Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship, Seth Rollins defeating Ziggler to become the new I.C Champion, Charlotte becoming the new SmackDownLive Women's Champion, and also Roman becoming the new Universal Champion. Since this was the longest PPV that WWE held in the WWE's SummerSlam history so it was obvious for some botches to happen and they did.

So, guys, let's get started without wasting further time.

#4 Late roll up

Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak to retain the Cruiserweight Championship

Well, we saw the first botch of the night in a Cruiserweight Championship match between Cedric Alexander (c) and Drew Gulak. In the title match, Cedric tried to apply a roll-up pin on Drew.

But as seen clearly he couldn't get the hold of Gulak strongly because of his hands slipped as he was applying the move after which Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak to retain the Cruiserweight Championship. But unseeing botch the Cruiserweights again delivered a successful and an entertaining match.

#3 Miss-Calculated Suplex

Rollins lifted up Ziggler to deliver a suplex but it ended up badly as he miscalculated the distance

Last night Ziggler took Rollins for the I.C title in a losing effort. In the ending moments of the match, we saw Rollins delivering his finisher "The Curb Stomp" on Ziggler to win and become the two-times I.C Champion.

But as we were in the midway of the match, Rollins lifted up Ziggler to deliver a suplex but it ended up badly as he miscalculated the distance which saw another match of the night ended up with a botch.

#2 Oversold Summersault

Though Charlotte hand barely touched Becky, she went on to oversell it

Last night after seeing Becky Lynch shocking heel turn, we saw Charlotte winning the SmackDown Women's Title beating Becky Lynch by applying her finisher "The Natural Selection". Even though it was an awesome match with some breathtaking moments but it ended up with a forgettable botch.

As Becky and Carmella were standing outside the ring Charlotte Flair reached to the top rope to deliver a Moonsault but it ended up with the botch as seen clearly Charlotte only connected with Carmella, not with Becky. Though Charlotte hand barely touched her, she went on to oversell it.

#1 Brock launches chair on himself

The Beasty Boy

Last night we saw Roman finally becoming the WWE Universal champion after he defeated Lesnar delivering 4 spears and some Superman punches. But as we saw it was rather kept a short match than a long-boring running match. But after skipping all the stories the biggest botch was made by none other than "The Beasty Boy" (as Strowman calls).

Lesnar entered the ring after hitting Braun with an F5 followed by some chair shots and throwing his Money in the Bank briefcase away. Roman hit him with a spear and as he had the chair in his hands was thrown by him but instead of getting out of the ring that chair took a U-turn and hit the Lesnar's face back. Ooucccch! That one did hurt.
