4 questions WWE need to answer on the Raw after TLC 2018

Many questions to answer
Many questions to answer

WWE TLC 2018 pay-per-view is now in the history books. Like the majority of WWE shows, this one had both ups and downs.

Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles was an excellent match, WWE put the SmackDown Women's Championship match in the main event, which also had many cool spots. The main event stood out, and was clearly the match of the night, as the crowd came to life during the match.

Ronda Rousey shockingly interrupted the match, and Asuka won the title. WWE handled the Strowman vs Corbin situation really well, considering Strowman was not cleared to wrestle.

Overall, SmackDown Live had the better showing at TLC. They had the better wrestling, & got a greater reaction from the crowd. But Monday Night Raw raised many questions that WWE must answer this night. In this article, we take a look at the 3 questions WWE need to answer after TLC 2018.

#4 Who is RAW's next General Manager & what is Braun Strowman's injury status?

Raw needs a new GM!
Raw needs a new GM!

There was a lot of doubt about Braun Strowman making an appearance at TLC, and there were conflicting reports on his status for the show. But The Monster Among Men did make his return to WWE for the first time after his elbow surgery.

Although he did show up, he didn't wrestle at all. He called out other superstars for help as it was a no disqualification match. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and even the referee, Heath Slater, were all involved in the victory which Strowman scored over Baron Corbin.

We also saw the return of Kurt Angle who stopped Corbin from escaping, and put him back in the ring. So as per the stipulation, Corbin is now fired as the General Manager of RAW.

We already know Vince McMahon will be returning on RAW tomorrow, so it's expected that he will announce the next GM of Raw (which will most probably be Kurt Angle). Also, as Strowman did not wrestle, it'll be interesting to see if WWE announces an update on his injury status.

#3 Why Drew McIntyre lost & what's next for him?

Is McIntyre's push over?
Is McIntyre's push over?

Drew McIntyre has been pushed very strongly on Monday Night Raw in recent months. He has been a dominating character on WWE TV, and has been protected from losing much. In fact, his first loss came against Dolph Ziggler recently on Raw. It was the first time The Scottish Psychopath was pinned clean.

He took on Finn Balor at WWE TLC pay-per-view, and it's hard to believe, but he lost again. Dolph Ziggler interfered during the match, and McIntyre was distracted. Balor took advantage of the situation and hit the 'Coupe de Grace' on McIntyre for the pin. Later in the show, we saw Ziggler attack Balor as well. So definitely, we can consider that to be a one-time assistance.

It looks a bit weird how WWE is booking Drew McIntyre now. He was being slated to become the next big thing on Raw, but he has lost in a match that he could have easily won, and continued his dominance. WWE must give us an answer as to why they booked this, and what they have planned for McIntyre after TLC.

#2 Why Dean Ambrose won the Intercontinental Championship?

Bad match, right result
Bad match, right result

Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins have been feuding ever since Ambrose turned on his brotherhood. Their match at TLC had a very average build, but in the absence of the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, this was Monday Night Raw's main match for the show.

The match at TLC was very much like the buildup - pretty average. But there was a big title change as Dean Ambrose beat Seth Rollins to become the new Intercontinental Champion. I think this was a good booking decision because Ambrose winning the title will change something for this feud.

But WWE could have done this in a much better and exciting way. The first mistake they made was to add no stipulation to the match. A ladder match would have been the perfect fit, but considering how amazingly talented Ambrose & Rollins are, this was not a match to remember.

Anyway, tomorrow on Raw WWE will continue this feud, and we will get a clear idea as to why Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins at TLC. It'll be interesting to see how WWE can make this feud better, because it seems to be a long one.

#1 Why Ronda why?

The landscape has changed
The landscape has changed

A few weeks ago, Ronda Rousey said on Raw that she will find a way to get to Charlotte Flair, and that their business isn't finished. Out of the blue, WWE surprised everyone when the RAW Women's Champion interrupted the SmackDown Live Women's Championship match.

We had a moment where Charlotte and Becky Lynch were fighting at the top of the ladder, suddenly Rousey walks in and shoves the ladder. Both women fall outside the ring, and Rousey leaves. Asuka takes advantage of this situation and climbs up the ladder to claim the women's championship.

We knew that WWE would do something involving Rousey & Charlotte. But no one expected that to start off like this. Ronda Rousey has turned heel after being a babyface ever since she debuted.

This could mean we get a triple threat match at the Royal Rumble. But RAW just got more exciting, because everyone wants an answer from Ronda Rousey.
