Survivor Series might turn out to be the best PPV of the year.

More often than not, the WWE does not fail to surprise and impress the WWE Universe. The initial match line-up of Survivor Series allowed the trollers to have oodles of fun on the internet. But Vince Mcmahon waved his magic wand and morphed Survivor Series into one of the most sought after WWE PPVs of all time. Nixing what would have easily been the worst match ever, Brock Lesnar vs Jinder Mahal, was a masterstroke.

You can follow Sportskeeda's live updates and coverage of Survivor Series 2017 right here.

But Vince Mcmahon outdid himself by booking a dream match that the WWE Universe did not know they wanted. Brock Lesnar will square off against the phenomenal AJ Styles at Survivor Series in what should be a match for the ages. These two gifted athletes will most certainly tear the roof down at Survivor Series. But unfortunately, if past is the reflection of what will happen in the future, then we all know who will emerge victorious in the marquee clash of the Titans.

And even though fans all over the world are hoping and praying for an AJ Styles victory, a thundering F5 out of nowhere is how this match will end. Anything can happen in the WWE but here are 4 reasons why Brock Lesnar will reign supreme at Survivor Series.

#1 RAW is the crown jewel of the WWE

Ente
RAW is WWE's numero uno brand.

RAW holds an extremely special place in Vince Mcmahon's heart. And thus, it comes as no surprise whatsoever that RAW has always been booked as WWE's numero uno brand. Even though Smackdown is marketed as the land of opportunities, it is clearly nothing more than a blue NXT for the WWE at the moment. Smackdown has always played second fiddle to RAW, and thus, Survivor Series is not expected to be any different.

RAW is expected to walk away with bragging rights at Survivor Series and in order to do so, the Universal Champion must beat the WWE Champion. All the Smackdown Superstars, including AJ Styles, will certainly not go down without a fight, but RAW will reign supreme in the end. Therefore, AJ Styles defeating Brock Lesnar seems highly unlikely. But let's hope that even if Smackdown loses all the other matches, AJ Styles somehow walks away victorious. Fingers crossed.

#2 AJ Styles has nothing to lose

Enter
Fans are in for a real treat.

It is a well-established fact that AJ Styles is one of the best wrestlers in the world today. After absolutely killing it all over the world, AJ Styles has successfully captured the heart and imagination of the WWE Universe as well. AJ Styles is without any shadow of a doubt one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE at the moment.

AJ Styles is now a two time WWE Champion, and he is just getting started. The championship is not on the line at Survivor Series, and even if he loses to Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles will still be the champion. AJ's latest championship reign has just begun, and he is expected to be the champ of the blue brand for the foreseeable future. Thus, a loss to Brock Lesnar will not tarnish AJ Styles ever enhancing legacy.

Also, more often than not, in a David vs Goliath battle, the giant prevails. And come Survivor Series, not many are expecting AJ Styles to slay the beast. On the other hand, if Brock Lesnar loses, all the aura surrounding him will disappear into thin air in an instant. As a result, the entire monstrous push he has received over the past couple of years will go down the drain. Brock Lesnar should put over AJ Styles in the future for sure, but the WWE would surely like to get Wrestlemania 34 out of the way before that happens.

#3 WWE wants to continue Brock Lesnar's monstrous booking

Ent
Brock Lesnar is an unstoppable force at the moment.

No superstar has received a push like what Brock Lesnar is currently receiving. From the moment he achieved the nearly impossible feat of defeating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar has been on a monstrous roll. He has had two lengthy reigns as the Universal Champion since then. The 'Beast Incarnate' has also completely destroyed some of the biggest superstars to ever step foot inside the squared circle. Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Dean Ambrose, and Goldberg are just some of the superstars who had the misfortune of visiting 'Suplex City'.

But as far as Brock Lesnar's monstrous push goes, all roads lead to Wrestlemania 34. Roman Reigns challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal title is almost a lock for the biggest sports entertainment spectacle of the year. In a match between the only two WWE superstars to defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar will most likely pass the torch to the 'Big Dog'. Wrestlemania 34 is going to be yet another coronation of Roman Reigns, and sadly AJ Styles will be the collateral damage as a result.

WWE obviously wants Brock Lesnar to walk into the match with a plethora of momentum. Therefore, a loss to AJ Styles will contradict the story that WWE plans to sell. A loss to AJ Styles at Survivor Series will bring Brock's mushrooming momentum to a screeching and sudden halt. Thus, keeping the future storylines in mind, a Brock Lesnar victory at Survivor Series seems like a done deal at the moment.

#4 AJ Styles lost to Finn Balor at TLC

Finn Balor defeated AJ Styles at TLC.

AJ Styles proved at the recently concluded TLC PPV that he might very well be the most dedicated wrestler alive at the moment. At a time when WWE superstars are revolting by walking out of shows or the company itself, AJ Styles continues to stun everyone with his commitment to pro wrestling. Merely for the effort that he had put in by showing at TLC, AJ Styles deserved to win. But Finn Balor walked out of TLC as the winner after battling it out against AJ Styles in what was an enthralling bout.

WWE obviously did not want a RAW superstar to lose on a RAW PPV. But it is no secret that WWE is more gung-ho about RAW, and therefore a Finn Balor victory did not surprise many. So as far as AJ's match with Brock Lesnar goes, it won't make any storyline sense for AJ to beat Brock. An AJ Styles victory will inadvertently prove that Finn Balor is a better wrestler than Brock Lesnar as well. Which the WWE obviously does not want to happen.

Thus, outside interference by Roman Reigns or Jinder Mahal seems like the only way AJ Styles could beat Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. A clean victory for AJ is something the WWE will not book in a million years. But let's hope that this dream match does not end with AJ Styles making a quick visit to 'Suplex City'. A back and forth match that goes down the wire is what the WWE Universe, AJ Styles, and Smackdown deserve. A 5-star match is what these great competitors are capable of and let's hope that it is exactly what the WWE delivers this Sunday at Survivor Series.
