4 Reasons Why Ronda Rousey Should Fight Bret Hart's Hall of Fame Attacker

This year's WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony was plunged into chaos when a member of the audience stormed the ring during The Hart Foundation's induction speech and tackled Bret Hart to the ground.

Immediately, Superstars from the WWE in the audience, security personnel and police rushed to the ring to separate Bret Hart from his assailant and remove him from the ring, with several of the wrestlers involved in physical altercations with him.

It was subsequently revealed that the attacker was an amateur MMA fighter who had been sending a series of threats and angry messages aimed towards Vince McMahon on social media, predominantly aimed towards his disappointment that the women were headlining the show.

#4. Justice for Bret Hart

No-one should break down the barrier between audience and performers, especially when it comes to professional wrestling. Those men and women are literal performers, there for our entertainment. We have no right to touch them, to interfere in any way, or, in this case, to storm the ring and tackle them to the ground.

Anyone who does so should be punished and one of he best punishments I can think of that will ensure that justice is served is to put any fan who crosses that line in the ring with the 'Baddest Woman on the Planet' Ronda Rousey.

Thankfully, on this occasion, no harm came to Bret Hart, but I'm confident that were the attacker to spend a prolonged amount of time in the ring, or the octagon, with Ronda Rousey that he would experience several levels of harm! If that's not justice I don't know what is!

#3. Because she's friends with the Hart family

Ronda Rousey and Natalya are real-life friends after the latter helped to train the former after she finally arrived in the WWE. This is something that we've seen play out on screen with Natalya and Rousey teaming up several times.

We've also seen it play out behind the scenes with the several pictures and videos of Natalya and Rousey together training in the ring or simply hanging out. Rousey spent a lot of time with the Hart family as a result and is said to be very close to them now.

I'm sure she'd love the opportunity to dish out some physical punishment to the idiot that interrupted her friend's special induction speech, and could have potentially hurt them.

#2. The attacker hates women

The motive behind the cowardly attack on Bret Hart seems to stem from the attackers frustrations with certain decisions that WWE has made, most notably, as evidenced by a series of tweets on Twitter, the decision for women to headline WrestleMania.

As you can see from the tweets, the attacker is angry and threatening towards Vince McMahon and considers the Triple Threat Women's Main Event to be an 'abomination'. This seems to have spurred his attack on Bret Hart.

So the best way to deal with someone who feels so strongly about women being given the same spotlight as men after years of inequality that he will risk physical harm and jail time to make a statement is to have a woman kick their ass - enter Ronda Rousey. Although any woman on the roster will surely do the job!

#1. Her partner already has!

Travis Browne was arguably the first person to respond to Bret Hart getting tackled as footage shows that the MMA fighter and partner to Ronda Rousey had already scouted the attack coming and was almost in the ring at the same time.

You can see clearly see Browne getting in several licks on Hart's assailant before the man is forcibly removed from the ring. It's easy to look at Hart being fine afterwards to treat this as no big deal, but were it not for Browne and others' timely intervention things could've been a lot worse.

So, if Browne has had an opportunity to land some blows on this idiot, it's only fair that his partner, 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' gets her fair share of lumps in too right!

Obviously, this article is mostly in jest, because I'm not really suggesting that WWE should in any way arrange for Rousey and that maniac to fight in the ring. But it's important to not lose sight of the seriousness of the situation.

Thankfully everything turned out okay for Bret Hart, who was unharmed and able to continue his speech and the police are quite rightly throwing the book at his assailant.
