4 ways Liv Morgan could re-debut on RAW

Ever since the Riott Squad was broken up over the spring during the Superstar Shake Up, all three members struggled to stand out. Ruby Riott got hurt and was put on the shelf for almost a year in August. Sarah Logan stayed with Riott on RAW but was primarily used instead on Main Event.

The main change that happened was that Liv Morgan was sent to SmackDown by herself. She was rarely used after the Shake Up. Her lone appearance was during the Town Hall segment with Shane McMahon and in a match against Charlotte Flair later that night.

After losing to Flair, Morgan promised that she'd be taking time off and would be "real" when she came back. She is likely off filming Total Divas while also working on a new persona for when she returns to TV.

How will she fit into the new division on RAW? Will it be more of the same from her or will she be undergoing a drastic change of character? Here are four possible ways that Morgan could re-debut as a member of RAW.

#4 As part of a tag team with Sarah Logan

Joining back up with Sarah Logan could help Morgan get back on her feet.

If the WWE feels that they need another female tag team, then they could pair Morgan back up with Sarah Logan. Neither woman has appeared much on RAW since after the draft. If "being real" meant Morgan wanted to go back to where she first started, the Riott Squad, then joining back up with Logan would give both women direction.

It would be a good use of both women instead of only showing up here and there. Both women have untapped potential - Logan is a ring veteran and a powerhouse whereas Morgan could be future star. Both women just need some air time and adding another tag team could help out RAW and the women's tag division.

The Kabuki Warriors will need some new challengers if they are going to hold onto their titles. That's probably part of the reason why they went back to NXT to defend against Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai.

I have a feeling that Charlotte Flair might be on a path to win those titles as a way to add another accolade to her resume, so Flair and a partner could be another team. Simply put, the duo of Logan and Morgan is a natural tag team and it would give them both something to do if neither is set to receive a substantial singles push.

#3 As a Charlotte Flair understudy or fan

Morgan's last match was against Flair.
Morgan's last match was against Flair.

This isn't the path I'd go, but you never know the plans for stars until they happen. Flair was the last woman that Morgan crossed paths with. Morgan puffed up her chest towards Flair during the Town Hall segment on SmackDown, and rightfully so. Flair does get more title shots than performers like Morgan. By falling to the Queen, Morgan was forced to look inward in order to figure out what wasn't working.

Perhaps her path back involves learning under the tutelage of one of the best female performers of all time. They did this with Dana Brooke back when Brooke debuted. It would add another layer for both women, especially if they want to sell Flair as a true face going forward. It would be refreshing to see her help along someone who has potential and it would be a story that writes itself when one would inevitably turn on the other.

They don't have to go full Mickie James and Trish Stratus with it, but Morgan could say that the reason why she acted that way initially during the Town Hall was because she admired and respected Flair. It could give Flair more time away from titles. Her current trajectory of winning a title and losing it within the same week is not helping her chase to break her father's record. It would also give some other women chances at the title.

#2 With little change except a different hair color

The easiest way for Morgan to rejoin the roster on RAW is to simply change her look a bit and become more serious. She's portrayed a rambunctious character as a member of the Riott Squad so perhaps she slightly changes her look and starts to take things more seriously. When she first started out in NXT, that was basically her character. She was a happy go lucky face until debuting as a heel on the main roster as a member of the Squad.

Pictures have recently surfaced online of Morgan with blonde hair once more, so that may or may not be a part of her new/real persona. A slight tweak like that would work if she simply changed her attitude and redirected her energies. Rather than trying to cause trouble, maybe she's "grown up" since the Squad disbanded and wants to focus on furthering her career.

"Being real" could also mean going back to NXT. Stars have returned to the yellow brand, including Drew Gulak, Apollo Crews, the Kabuki Warriors and of course, Finn Balor. I thought she was still a little green when she was called up so perhaps she's off working on her in-ring game.

#1 As an agent of chaos

Is Morgan set to go even further into the crazier side of her character?
Is Morgan set to go even further into the crazier side of her character?

This is my pick and it would be the best option for Morgan if she is able to pull it off. Most of the women in WWE are pretty much characters/personas grounded in reality. You have the no-nonsense Becky Lynch, the pedigree and athleticism of the Queen, Charlotte Flair and the arrogant Sasha Banks.

Mandy Rose is obsessed with her appearance and Sonya Deville is a legitimate physical threat due to her MMA background. Ember Moon was sort of a dark hero and Carmella is "fabulous". There's nothing wrong with the women in the WWE and their personas. It's just that one that is vastly and completely different from everyone else would stand out. It's part of the reason why the Fiend persona of Bray Wyatt instantly clicked with a huge portion of the WWE Universe.

There were rumors that Morgan would be joining the Firefly Funhouse, but she's on RAW and Wyatt is on SmackDown. She even had a few tweets talking about the changes she might be going through mentally and how we'd cry if we "looked inside her mind".

Those could be calculated tweets on social media or just some random posts. There are usually reasons behind the tweets of WWE Superstars and these could be signaling a turn to the dark side or a further fracturing of her psyche.

It would be a daring and great direction for her and it would instantly set her apart from the rest of the roster. By being an agent of chaos, she could pit friends like the IIconics against each other, randomly interfere in matches or frame people for things backstage. Maybe someone ruins one of Mandy Rose's magazine covers and Morgan makes it look like Deville did it. There are numerous possibilities that could come from this and she might even get the rub of popularity from Wyatt if she does join him in his endeavors. Do it WWE!
