Going into WrestleMania 35, the triple threat match pitting Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch was given the center stage and was promoted more than any other match on the show.

The women were called on Sports Center, Becky Lynch bagged a major TV commercial, and went on to become the most mentioned female wrestler on Twitter. The match was a complete letdown, with all three women botching multiple spots. To add to it, the ending left a lot to be desired, with Becky stealing a pin on Ronda out of nowhere, while her shoulders were still up in the air.

Reports suggested that this was deliberately done to keep the possibility of a future one-on-one match open, but it didn't do the women any favors. This had the potential to become a show-stealer, just like Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 32. Instead, it turned out to be another standard triple threat match.
